not a good investment of my money

I spoke with a rep in my state who was friendly and tried to be helpful as much as he could. After watching their commercial and researching as much as possible, I have come to the conclusion that this is not a viable way of rejuvenating an asphalt shingle roof not a good investment of my money. First, they speak of a FREE $859 value roof inspection in their TV ad. $859 ???? That sounds like a great deal of money to look at my roof! And besides, exactly how did they come up with that amount???? It's just a way to get their proverbial "foot in the door". Secondly, Why don't they show the actual condition of a roof shingle 5 years after it had been treated by their process, not one that was freshly done???? And lastly, I compare using a "treatment" such as Roof Maxx to replacing the tires on your car with "recaps" instead of new! They might last for a short time but in the end they're not a good choice.

I recommend Roof Maxx of Ormond Beach

As a roofing contractor in Florida, I can say I highly recommend this product. I work closely with Noah, who is the dealer who manages the Volusia/Flagler county territories, and am always impressed with his honesty and transparency when working with homeowners. We refer all homeowners with roofs we repair to Roof Maxx to help them get the most out of their asphalt roofs.

Roof Max flexibility warranty

A request for an inspection based on Roof Maxx flexibility warranty all phone calls for approximately a week to 10 days have accomplished absolutely nothing I have damage to my roof I have requested an inspection and the parent company as well as the franchisee holder shingles solutions technology LLC fort Lauderdale Florida has not seen fit to acknowledge my report. I feel that the general public should reconsider this service as so far in my instance after a almost $2,000 investment I am getting the proverbial runaround

Roof Maxx On December 4 review

On December 4, 2023 I had Roof Maxx treat my roof. I paid $5173 to treat 80% of my roof the other 20% is covered by Solar Panels. I was quoted $18,000 to renew my roof by 5 different roofing contactors.
The Roof Maxx dealer Jake of Orlando the local dealer when he completed the job said he would be my roofing guy and would take care of my roof and give me annual inspections.
When the hurricane Milton went through Central Florida it damaged my roof tearing of 21 shingles which I found all over my yard the next day. I tried contacting the dealer Jake of Orlando by phone and left several messages only to find is mail box was full. I also tried by texting and sending emails, still no answer. A week had gone by so I decided to call Roof Maxx without success. I eventually found a claims form on web which I filled out and submitted.
Here is their reply:
"Your roof is not covered for storm damage contact roofing companies for repairs."
I would not recommend this company, it is impossible to get a hold of the installed Dealer of Orlando once they have taken your money you are on your own.
You decide.

Reply from Roof Maxx (Ormond Beach, FL)

Hi Barry,

I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Roof Maxx dealer in Orlando. I want to assure you that Jake Wolfe is no longer with Roof Maxx, and I understand how disappointing this situation must be for you.

As the owner of the Roof Maxx franchise in Ormond Beach, I want you to know that we are fully committed to assisting homeowners, especially after the impact of Milton. We strive to respond to all inquiries and concerns regarding roofs we have serviced here, as we genuinely care about the well-being of our community.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the frustration you’ve faced.

Great "Theory" and one I am "trusting" but we'll see

Let me 100% clear and up-front, I just had the Service done so "promises made" are yet to be seen if true or not over time HOWEVER having said that the "concept" is certainly "sound." One can "soak" a myriad of things in "solutions" that then help rejuvenate them by replenishing "oils" (whatever) to return elasticity and/or a sense of (closer to) original "flexibility" of things (say, even Leather, any number of Leather treatments to try keep them from becoming brittle, dried out, cracking). SO, this makes a lot of sense and indeed I HAVE PURCHASED THEIR PROCESS/SERVICE but as they were leaving I was told "should be dry in about an hour" and frankly it better not be - the whole point was that the "treatment" be able to "absorb" into the Tar Shingles and help "restore" a bit of their original state and flexibility (not be dried out and brittle, the Leather treatment concept). One could apply any number of Sealants to try keep water repelled (that would dry and create an extra "barrier") but that is NOT what this is supposed to be - again, sound principle, and IMO "worth the price" to "take the chance" at being able to put off the whole roof replaced expense absolutely NOT in my Budget right now (try "buy me some time" to put off and let me prepare in the next 5 years to be better able to swing the whole roof replacement that is the only 100% real assurance at keeping your Home dry inside (in so far as, guarding against the Weather up there)).

5 year warranty New Look on roof!!

The good things is I had the roof sprayed before the the winter months 45 to 50 degrees, and still got a good absorbent amount making the shingles lay down & flatten out, these shingles are 22 years old, but look as good as 5 year old new ones. I have no leaks
