Avoid like the plague. I placed an order in April 2024, est delivery 8-10 weeks. By the end of October I still had no bed.
Contact is atrocious, mid way through the summer the office landline turned into a no voicemail non answered line and their effort to reply to email is poor also. I was given excuse after excuse each time blaming the manufacturer, in the end I cancelled the order and despite advising a refund would take up to 2 weeks, no refund came. I have raised this through my credit card to claim the money back, but feel for anyone who has no recourse as the bed was £680.

Exactly what I wanted, easy for my husband to assembly it looks just as shown in the pics online plus i think a little better too. Feels sturdy and my sons whizzes up and down with ease. was the best price i found for something similar, it was a gift from grandma but I would return to shop again

Pleased with purchase

I paid money to buy bunk beds , i never got the beds , waited 6 month . I have now asked a refund for my purchase and it is 2 month i am struggling to get it back . Looks like it is a scam

Good point are that the bed is brilliant, ordering was easy and the communication was good

Bad point were the delivery time and a very miserable delivery man who I found a little rude

However my daughter loves her new bed so that’s the main thing

All good so far, the kids are happy, its a good solid bed

the delivery of the bed came quicker than that stated in the web page. i got a call a couple of days beforehand with a rough time of when to expect delivery, all quite straightforward. we built the bunk over two days as there was lots for us to move around in the bedroom. the bunk is perfect and we’re so happy with it and will definitely use this company again for kids furniture

My wife placed our order for a purchase of a new mid sleeper bed for our 8 year old daughter. the website looked good and we were happy with the price. the wait was quite long and my wife had to contact the company but soon after the bed was delivered and the all was good. the bed is excellent, i like the high up position as it offer tonnes of space underneath with the chest of drawers and make her bedroom seem a lot larger than it is. the quality is good and building it wasn't as difficult as i expected, although i did need some help for some parts.overall i'm pleased and we are now already looking some more furniture for our 4 year old so likely to make another order in the not too distant future. thank you

Product ordered. Soon after was told there was a 10 week wait time due to "backlog at warehouse".

No sign of product after 11 weeks.

Awaiting refund ...

This company should not be trading if they are insolvent and cannot deliver on contractual terms to customers.

I would give 5 stars.

I made a purchase for my granddaughters birthday and she was delighted with her new bedroom furniture.

Whilst I didnt construct myself I understand that it was easy to build and it feels extremely sturdy. Once I placed the order everything looked after itself and delivery was in good time and as I understand was easy to organise . In summary generally a positive experience

Please do not engage with Room To Grow.
They will not deliver any furniture ordered and you will have a nightmare seeking a refund (I had to utilise both AmazonPay and AMEX to clawback my £1K for Stompa bunk bed and mattresses).
It's appalling they are still taking orders; their Customer Services team will string you along, claiming delays in delivery and offering you a £25 voucher for your next purchase (ah, the irony!)
Please, do not set yourself up for heartbreak.
Purchase from a different company.

My daughter love her new bed from Room 2 Grow
We choose a traditional wooden bunk and we’re so happy with it. Very sturdy and safe I think we made an excellent choice and would hesitate to recommend to anyone else. My daughter keeps showing it off to her friends and it has already proven useful for sleepovers.

Attractive bedroom set, decent price and reasonable experience

I am utterly disappointed with my experience with RTG. After placing an order for a bed, I was left waiting indefinitely as it never arrived. To add insult to injury, the mattress that was part of the same order did arrive, albeit over three months late. It sits idly, rendered useless without its counterpart.
Additionally, their communication was very poor. When the items were late, I had to chase the. They did not proactively contact me. Not once did I receive an apology
The lack of coordination and respect for the customer is appalling. Not only did RTG fail to fulfil my order, but they also left me with half a product that served no purpose on its own. The situation was made worse by the fact that RTG is reportedly nearing liquidation, which was stressful as it raised concerns about the possibility of receiving any form of compensation. RTG did agree to refund me the full amount, but then did not honour the refund and I therefore had to go through my credit card company.
I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of RTG and seek products and services from more reliable companies. It’s not worth the risk, especially when the company is potentially on the brink of liquidation and your hard-earned money could be lost.

A lovely bed, very multi functional, lists of handy storage space and cubby drawers. Arrived as expected and advertised. Delivery men were friendly and helpful getting everything upstairs, would use again in the future

Looks great. Took me about an hour and a half to complete the installation, all the instructions were well written in good English. All parts were there and correct plus a few spare fixings. The final build quality was good for the money and in general I’m pleased. Fits perfectly in a tight space in my son’s room and makes the room feel so much bigger.

RTG Retail Limited trading as Room to Grow, owned by TCFC Retail Limited was placed into liquidation on 29th July 2024, with significant debt.

THE FACT THAT THEY ARE STILL ACCEPTING ORDERS ONLINE IS OUTRAGEOUS.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not use, our assumption is that they are bankrupt and using customer monies to pay off debts. Items took nearly 5 months to arrive, then wrong and they never reply to emails. Still waiting for items. AVOID AVOID.
