The only reason for withholding a star is because the walnut, as expected, hasn’t yet shown signs of life. It was planted on receipt. (However the ‘bonus’ Sorbus is sprouting leaves happily.)

Pleased with this and hopeful. I have planted many young trees in my garden this year. I, however, am not young! They all arrived in good condition including this walnut. I just need to live long enough to see them fruit!
