The tree is a replacement for the first tree I was sent. This one also has evidence of a virus (dark n spots on the leaves). The latest tree was a poor shape and showed no signs of the training indicted on the Roots website. I have not planted it yet as I'm in two minds whether to bother. I have pruned the tree and done some training using Bonsai wire in the hope of developing a shape for the future. I'm preparing to write off the £40 I paid. I will not buy from Roots in the future.

The Quince tree seems to be happy where it is. It sits in the middle of our orchard and has had hot sun, heavy rain and wind over the past few days but is thriving.
