A pink variation on the ever-popular 'Annabelle', this cultivar produces an abundance of rounded blooms in summer, painting the garden with great swathes of candy pink. The large flowers, measuring up to 20cm across each, are held against a backdrop of rich foliage, with each green leaf also measuring up to 20cm long. Perfect for a flowering hedge or to star as a feature shrub in a border, 'Pink Annabelle' is also suitable for coastal and exposed locations, thanks to its salt tolerance and hardiness (RHS H6). An excellent option for cut flowers, pair your hydrangea with roses, peonies and ferns for an added touch of greenery. With their fondness for soil that doesn't dry out and partial shade, hydrangeas like this one make for excellent woodland garden plants; plant alongside hostas, heucheras and astilbes to create a truly magical glade.

Plant arrived in poor condition. Advised to remove damaged leaves, repot, feed and put it in a spot with sun and shade. Did this and is still awful. Poor quality and did not have to rescue a plant upon delivery. Not worth the money at all.

What a shame. Ordered over a week ago but nothing arrived. Telephones switched off and emails unanswered. AVOID!

It was lovely to see this pink Annabelle hydrangea available at Roots. Plants arrived well packaged, as always, and in good condition, again as always. We may even get a couple of blooms before winter comes. I would love to see this plant available in a larger size. 3L pot is a little on the small side though, if they're anything like my regular Annabelle's, they do grow quite quickly.

My pink Annabelle hydrangea has settled in nicely and there’s already been some new growth. I’m looking forward to seeing it flower next year, close to my white Annabelle.
