Hydrangea 'Runaway Bride' Reviews

With its delicate white lacecap blooms appearing right through summer and into early autumn, 'Runaway Bride' is more like a runaway garden success as far as we're concerned. Having won the prestigious Plant of the Year award at RHS Chelsea, back in 2018, this hydrangea has every right to be capturing your attention right now. Producing as many as six times the number of flowers that a standard hydrangea does, this variety is the very definition of a spectacular feature plant. Compact in nature (growing to just over a metre) and trailing in habit, 'Runaway Bride' makes an excellent choice for patio pots. It even works well in a large hanging basket where its blooms can spill elegantly over the sides. Look closely at your plant's flowers, and you'll notice that some of them take on an attractive pink blush, further adding to its already considerable visual appeal.
