This picture shows the tree in the middle of May, two months after planting. It looked the same until March this year when it completely snapped off (dead and rotten). No compensation offered for a dead plant.

The Mirabelle plum tree was delivered exactly as indicated by e-mails, and was well-packaged. It looked good on opening - bare root and almost five foot high. I used the bamboo stick it came with as a stake, attaching it with soft rag ties so that they won't rub at all. I'm hoping that it will thrive over the years to come. Thank you!

Although it’s too early to know whether the tree will embed and produce fruit, for the moment as transplanted in a larger pot with good rooting compost, it looks fine. It will be transplanted in my garden once I take possession of my new property, most likely in March.
