A spectacular climber with delicious tropical fruits, multitudes of superb, saucer-shaped flowers and lush evergreen foliage, the passion fruit plant is the definition of a superstar!
Sporting purple, white and green flowers that reach up to seven centimetres across, few plants can even hope to compete with Passiflora edulis in terms of showiness.
The fruits can range in colour from yellow to purple, and boast an exotic sweetness that makes them perfect for cocktails, baking and cooking.
Train against an obelisk or trellis and grow in a sunny, sheltered courtyard or greenhouse, and watch as bees and butterflies flock to the flowers.
Did you know? Native to Brazil, passion fruits were first introduced to Europe by the Spanish and Portuguese all the way back in the middle of the 16th century.

Very poor roots, seems to be wrapped in what looks like tissue- might have been in a relatively small module. The soil in the pot around it crumbles away. Will see how it establishes it itself. May 7th- can confirm it has not survived!

the plant is on the verge of dying. I have written to customer service twice. Unable to find a telephone number number. Cost me £56 arrived on 16 January. So two weeks. really highly disappointed

This was the definitely the best plant amongst my order. Very good quality and well packaged. It's thriving in a pot. Highly recommended. Update: my puppy destroyed this 😢
