2 of the 3 are amazing, beautiful trees. The this was but maybe it was something in the ground, it wasn't blight, it just died. Tempted to try replace it but a very bad experience buying tomatoes has now put me of buying from Roots again.

Wanted to try a red Williams pear and saw this variety. Williams Bon Chretien is a lovely pear and I am looking forward to seeing it turn red upon ripening, that is once it is mature enough to produce fruit. The tree itself was in good condition and shape and the roots were healthy and definitely not dried out. That was because the people at Roots Plants had the wherewithal to put each tree I bought into individual bags with some moist soil around the roots to prevent it from drying out. A very good idea that shows this company cares about its products. So the tree is in the ground with all of the other fruit trees in our little orchard and looking like it has found a good new home. I am very pleased with the purchase of these 3 trees and I think I have found a company that definitely cares about the plants that it offers. Couldn’t ask for a better start to a relationship.
