The tree appeared to have fallen over during transport and suffered stress. The tree had dropped all of it's leaves a few weeks after the plant arrived - however it has recovered well after being repotted.

I received and planted a bare-root persimmon tree in early April, but it still hasn’t sprouted. There has been no change at all — it’s still just a bare stick.

Fig is very disappointing …. a single leaf on a tall stick and roots had some dieback. It will TLC and careful pruning to make an attractive bush.
