Apricots perform best in the warmer part of the UK. They prefer warmer weather, and their early spring flowers are susceptible to frost. You can protect them somewhat by growing in a sheltered spot, perhaps up against a south facing wall. Even then, in cold springs few flowers may set and so there won't be a big crop. Arrived beautifully boxed, very vibrant and healthy around 6' tall, gave it a couple of days to recover, now planted and looking happy. 10/10 A bit expensive, but just about worth it..

I planted a bare-root Apricot tree in spring but it did not take. Roots very kindly and promptly replaced it for free, and it seems to be doing very well

For a three year old tree she seems small but she’s on dwarf root stock so maybe that’s why. The shape of the Tomcat tree is not particularly good, Think I felt a bit disappointed despite the tree being well packaged and arriving as promised.
