Great hotel for the kids

Great hotel for the kids, our grand kids spent hours in the pool everyday, the food was good and always a good choice. Staff were good too and always helpful when we needed anything. Would stay again. The only thing I would say is the lifts are busy but as we were only on the 4th floor and fit enough for the stairs we didn't use them much.

Rosamar Garden hotel

We stayed in Rosamar Garden hotel this week and it was fabulous. Staff were lovely and helpful. The pools and lounger areas were absolutely beautiful. We were all inclusive and the food/drinks were just brilliant. The kids had an absolutely amazing time and are begging to come back again next year.

Disappointing Experience – Not What We Expected from an All-Inclusive Hotel

Our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing and did not meet the standards we expected, especially for an all-inclusive package.
• The room was not cleaned properly upon arrival and throughout the stay, and towels were only replaced if we specifically asked.
• The bar closed at 11pm, which is inconvenient as that’s usually when guests start to relax and socialize.
• As vegetarians, we were shocked to find pre-packed food on arrival that was mixed with meat.
• The drink options were extremely limited—only water was available most of the time, despite being all-inclusive.
• Several arcade machines were not working, and we lost money in them without any support or compensation.
• The restaurant offered the same food every day, with very few vegetarian options. There was no omelette station for breakfast, which is a basic offering at most hotels, and our request for one was denied.
• There was only one soft drink machine in the restaurant, which often caused delays and queues.
• Access to the indoor pool was not included—we were surprised to be charged nearly 47 euros in total for an hours swim for 7 people.
• The hotel manager, Monica, was unfortunately quite rude and unhelpful. On the positive side, Pedro, the restaurant manager, did his best to assist where he could.

Overall, this stay did not reflect the quality or service one expects from an all-inclusive experience. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve guest satisfaction in the future.

Shockingly disappointed

Looked lovely as we went in but that was it..4 hour wait to get in the room..very grubby floors, walls and surfaces. Dead flies squashed on walls..Room temp was so hot but couldn't be turned down..Mosquitos are a nightmare..
Food was cold, unappetising, very bland, on a plus side breakfast was OK but only for the cereals, fruit and toast...
Christmas Dinner was unbelievable,!!!
200 people queuing out side dining room at 12.30 (designated time) we were told we had to be prompt for a 1 hour slot..no one allowed in until 12.50.. it was horrendous. We never even made it to the serving hatch and left.. ended up with burger..
This was the first Xmas I'd been away and first I'd chosen half board in a hotel.... never again..staff are rude and unhelpful.
Kids flying round reception on bikes ???
Running round restaurant,, I could go on and on..Needless to say I will never use this 4**** hotel again..
I do have videos and photos which I will forward on

Not for us

We have just been to the rosamar in benidorm for a week i was in a party of 15 but we were families .With it been a family hotel we didnt think we would have fights people obviously under the influence of drink and drugs ,people kids and adults screaming on the corridors at all hours really bad .We had 6 police cars come but the people were not removed from the hotel ,one guy in particular actually pushed a child over it was horrendous .Our children had there holiday ruined as they were scared when this guy was about .There is work still taking place and the banging starts at 8am .The food for adults is really good but our kids struggled we took them out to eat .The entertainment staff are outstanding and a credit to the hotel but for the rest of the staff not good .We would definitely not return to this hotel .

We booked through L.H.

We booked through L.H., which made an error when booking our flights and accommodation. Basically, they said, “We don’t care, and we won’t help.” I contacted the hotel and the airline directly, and they dealt with it immediately.

Unfortunately, our plane seats were covered in food or sick—I'm not really sure. The travel company dropped us off right outside the hotel, which was very clean. The rooms were also clean; however, the inside of our fridge wasn’t, so we didn’t use it. It wasn’t clear if there was a cost to use the fridge, but I was glad there was no mini fridge cluttering the space.

The pools and surrounding areas were very clean. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant was clean as well. Dinner was not so great; it was very busy with queues everywhere—even in October. It wasn't well thought out for mobility or for single parents carrying multiple plates.

The reception staff were not friendly or approachable at all. There were no inflatables allowed in either pool, which I think should be stated on the website. Sunbeds were taken by towels by 10 a.m., with no one even using them.

I was electrocuted by the hairdryer in the bathroom but didn’t approach reception due to their rudeness. On our first night at the kids' entertainment, I waited at the inside bar for eight minutes, only to be told that I had to “leave the building” and join the all-inclusive queue outside. This meant my son would have been left out of sight for over 20 minutes, and I would have had to pay excessively for drinks—not worth it unless you have an inclusive package.

When I attempted to check the transfer time in the transfers folder, I was asked what I was doing. After explaining, I was told to come back twice, as they only updated it a couple of hours before—definitely not great when you're trying to plan your last day. I approached reception to ask about transfers and was told to phone the company. When I tried to call, there was no answer, so I went back to reception. They huffed and puffed before looking it up on the computer and telling me the time. I didn’t dare check the pickup location. On the morning of departure, I asked where the pickup location was and was told to find my name in the book. They didn’t ask me how my room or stay was.

With my mobility issues and a small child, I had to walk two streets with two heavy suitcases to the pickup point, despite having made my disability clear to all providers.

The transfer driver was probably the happiest person I met all holiday and provided the best service.

This hotel and holiday are not worth the risk of getting a school fine. It was probably too expensive for the experience. It’s worth noting that this hotel is busy 24/7, so if you want to sleep at night, I’d recommend another hotel. This hotel was chaotic and overcrowded; I can only imagine how they would accommodate guests during the summer holidays.

Buy your own toilet rolls

Food was not good, we were all-inclusive and ate out at local restaurants most of the time. Entertainment was terrible and aimed at the Spanish guests. Marta who served us at the pool snack bar on a number of occasions was so cheeky and seemed like she hated her job and life. We bought our own toilet paper as the staff rarely left any for us, we also had to beg for fresh towels. Really bad experience for us on this family holiday (party of 9 adults and 4 children). I'm not a keyboard warrior so I'll identify myself, rooms 620, 625, 630, 632 and 633. We come to Benidorm every year and we're at the Rosamar a few times in the recent past before the renovation work and we will never be back. Not 4 star standards...

Quite old but complete

Hotel is a bit old for the price, nevertheless it has everything. 2 pools, A/C, ocean views, buffet restaurant and more.

The bad are the rooms. For almost €200/night you can do better. They have a worn feel and are tiny. Same for bathroom and shower.

Big plus is the breakfast and dinner buffet. Lots of great meals to choose from. Still is above average price for the location.

Hotel is not designed for the amount of rooms they have. Queuing constantly for in adequate restaurant, just to get a seat, then queuing to get food only to find empty offerings on display. When you did actually get anything to eat it was cold, but you could use a microwave, what a joke. Rooms were filthy, facilities around the pool/bar area filthy, and unsafe due to having to walk where people had with wet feet. Lifts, took forever, doesn't help when your on the top floor. Needs a rethink desperately. Improvements definitely needed. Absolutely disgusting experience.

Rosamar es blau

Where and how do I even begin with this disgusting hotel Rosamar Es Blau!
First of all, how the hell does this hotel have 4 stars? I’ve been around the world, at 3 stars hotels and comparing to this hotel, the 3 stars hotels was LUXURIOUS. So me and my sister got in late, they ask us like a thousands questions about things we didn’t care about. They told us to mail our booking information to them, so we did - but why? Normally they never ask to send anything to them.
Anyway, we got into our room. Very small and smelly room of chlorine. For a 4 star hotel, it was very unfashionable. A very small tv with almost only Spanish shows.
The bed was not a king size as promised, it was two children's bed next to each other.
There were stains all over our duvets, we had brought our own pillow which was good. The pillows they had, homeless people wouldn't even sleep on them. They didn’t change our duvets once for the whole week, and the woman who was cleaning our room, always talk about how hard her life was, so we would give her money.
And the cleaning was not cleaning, the duvet was pulled under the mattress, toilet paper in the bathroom and they made the front floor by the door a little bit wet, so you would think they had cleaned the floor, even though we were sitting on the balcony and saw it all. We had brought 2 glasses up to the room the first day we got there. They were never removed even though they came in every day and we told them to take the glasses with them. The bathroom was full of mold and in the room itself, there were silverfish all over the place.
First day, and all we wanted to do was to leave this awful place.
Now let me tell you about the buffet. Same breakfast every day, a few options for vegan (oats milk, fruit, bread and butter)
And nothing is fresh, the bread was hard like stone. Old fruits, everything was uneatable.
The lunch was disgusting, old salads leaves, pizza and chips every day, and if you asked them about vegan option, they would look at you like stupid because they DONT understand or speak English - ldo they really expect that all the guests speak Spanish? The staff does not have any idea what vegan is. They had some small vegan butter package for breakfast, we ask them if we could get some at lunch and they was like, you have to pay if you want it. And the worst part was, my sister got a big stone in her mouth, she got so angry and we told them that there was a stone in her food, they didn’t care, not even an apology. They looked at us like we were the problem. So disrespectful and rude staff. And you pay for your drinks at lunch and dinner. WTH!!!!
The pool is small, only 15-20 can be at the pool. The spa room stinks, the use chlorine everywhere. The jacuzzi and inside pool was ice cold. The beach was near the hotel, but it was not a sand beach. It was small stones. The entrance to the sea is down quite a steep slope and when you step into the sea you step out about a meter and a half down, really dangerous with the waves that were in the sea. We didn’t like it at all, and it didn’t look like the pictures they have posted. At the beach, EVERYONE was smoking weed, no matter where you went. Disgusting men look at you like they’ve never seen a woman before. We didn’t feel comfortable at all.
There was nothing to see or do at this place.
There was no entertainment at the hotel in the evening, but you were allowed to use the other ROSAMAR hotels that were close by. But it was not good entertainment.
One woman at the reception was nice, the men was always hidden on us, although we told them to stop.
We thought that there will be quiet at night, but all the young people were screaming and running around at night, knocking on doors and they didn’t do anything about it. Only adults and my ass, it was like being in a kindergarten.
It was the worst place in Spain, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, even if they get it for free.
This hotel should only have 1 star and not more. It was absolutely a nightmare to be there for 7 days.
If you're looking for a pleasant stay, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs. Whoever who think that this hotel is nice, has never been on real hotels.

Rosamar Es Blau - LLoret De Mar - Terrible Hotel

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with this hotel? Let me just say that my experience was an absolute nightmare and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Honestly, I'm shocked that this hotel has a 4-star rating because it's clear that they don't care about their guests' wellbeing at all.

The first issue was the bedding - it was stained! I mean, seriously, who provides guests with stained bedding? It was disgusting and I felt completely gross sleeping in it. And if that wasn't bad enough, the bathroom had mold in it! I can't even imagine how unhealthy that is to breathe in. The fact that the hotel is okay with guests staying in these conditions is beyond me.

And don't even get me started on the food. My girlfriend specifically enquired about twice for vegan options prior to booking the place, and both times she was told they cater for vegans. On the first dinner they had NO clue what vegan even was and they gave us a dish which they said was vegan but had dairy init. The staff does not have any idea what vegan is and what to offer to the guests dining there. For breakfast next morning there was absolutely NOTHING available for vegans. The hotel couldn't even be bothered to try to accommodate me.

To top it all off, the hotel promised to refund my all-inclusive package for the rest of my stay and only charge me for the room, but they didn't follow through on that either! It's not okay to make promises and then not keep them. It's a clear breach of trust, and it's just plain dishonest. We left the hotel on the 3rd day seeing if we go back to a main stream city we can still salvage our holiday and left the hotel our bank details and contact. After over a week we had to chase them up for the refund and instead of acknowledging the terrible service they provided they said they are only going to refund for the dinner we had and the breakfast EVEN THO WE LITERALLY DIDNT EAT.

Overall, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Their poor hygiene standards, lack of dietary accommodation, and failure to follow through on promises make them a terrible choice for any guest. If you're looking for a pleasant stay, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

I payed a lot of money for a bad experience..!

I payed a lot of money for an all inclusive stay at Rosamar Hotel in Benidorm - this is the first and last time I will ever go to Rosamar...!

First all inclusive is NOT “all inclusive”, a lot of people know that... but this was basically to the extend of horrific...

1) The room was very small compared to fit 3 people and the bathroom door were mouldy

2) The rooms were constantly sprayed with perfume - turns out that was to cover the smell of sewage- even at the 14’th floor...!

3) I had to pay 19 euros for access to the Internet for a week, for two devices! I have to pay for premium Wi-Fi because the standard Wi-Fi just wasn’t functioning...!

4) I had to pay 19 euros in Rental for a safe...!

5) the swimming pools were full of rubble and broken glass

Just don’t go there!
