You have to question these reviews when they say the audiences gave Melania a 98% score, and critics gave it 13%. If you've seen it you'll know there is no chance at all that 98% of audiences actually... See more

Unreliable. Their reviews seem to be biased. I don't understand how the Michael movie got low ratings.

Sham site, manipulated to accommodate corrupted studios and The Agenda

Removing, resetting, and/or otherwise manipulating reviews, comments, feedback and audience scores under the pretext of "it's trolls" is simply censorship. A pretext for censorship and blatant manipulation. One observer's "troll" is another observer's valid critique and opinion. It's Orwellian BS, like these hypocritical leftist platforms that police so-called "hate speech" and where enforcement and interpretation is arbitrary, capricious, subjective and one-sided.

Biased, Corrupted, Left-Wing Website

Rotten Tomatoes is another left-wing propaganda website that won't let you publish your review just because they do not agree with your opinion about movie/TV show. What's the point staying on such a totalitarian website where you're not allowed to review movies and TV shows just because they don't like it? It is another liberal left-wing propaganda website where truth isn't allowed to be heard. They are probably paid by Hollywood. Worst thing is, you can't even delete your account. You need to write them via email and ask them to delete your account manually.

Great for movie fans

Rotten Tomatoes is my go-to place for movie reviews. I like the mix of reviews from critics and members of the public. The newsletter is good too, as it contains a nice mix of reviews, news, trailers, etc. Recommended.

Completely corrupt

Completely corrupt. Critic reviews are useless, and only tell you how woke a film it, and they delete user reviews they don't like.

They've proved in 2019 that they are…

They've proved in 2019 that they are either corrupt or completely bias.

From Captain Marvel to Star Wars RS and Dr Who's latest. At this point, there is too much data to prove they've done strange things like resetting audience score for Dr Who or hiding Star War's last film by keeping it at the same percentage from when they had reviews in the 1000 to 89,700+ without going up or down a single %, despite Star Wars becoming one of the most controversial films in recent years.

This site is a disgrace to the trust people place in reviewers. Avoid this rotten site at all costs, go to Metacritic, look into a youtuber you trust but avoid Rotten Tomatoes' critics and do not trust their display of audience reviews.

ROTTEN TOMATOES IS AN ABOMINATION.

ROTTEN TOMATOES IS AN ABOMINATION.

Rotten Tomatoes is not an accurate barometer of either critic consensus nor of audience consensus. After Captain Marvel was released, Rotten Tomatoes, presumably under pressure from the big studios, did away with several metrics: the 'don't want to see' rating, and now there are additional barriers for audience reaction/reviews.

Succinctly, Rotten Tomatoes is a shill website in the pocket of Hollywood. Don't waste your time here, unless you really enjoy satire, because at this point, that's all you get from the ridiculous, stilted, biased, 'always move the goal posts when Hollywood doesn't like the result' website.

Perception turned out to be reality

I had a perception that the reviews are unreliable and one-sided. I did some research and turned out my perception was correct. If I continued to trust the reviews on the site as a guide (which I have in the past), I would either miss many good movies (rared badly on RT) or watch a load of garbage that has been rated highly.

Horrible

Horrible. Rotten Tomatoes places commenters who bought tickets from Regal or AMC as unverified comments, but not if you bought from Fandango. They're going to be sued for this. They can't even verify Regal so why can we not be 'verified'?

Rotten Tomatoes has become a horrible…

Rotten Tomatoes has become a horrible website to review before going to a movie. It has become all agenda driven like our mainstream media. They push crap SJW movies onto the public and deceive them into spending their money on them. They should face a class action lawsuit for all the blatant deception.

Agenda driven

Audience reviews are 2 types - people sharing their thoughts on a movie/tv series and people hate speaking about the first type of people. Usually the second type are rating only with 0.5 or 5 stars depending on the movie's conformity with far left agenda. Overall the site has lost any credibility.

I think these guys watch too many…

I think these guys watch too many movies and read a bit too much the new york times...
they give such bad ratings to really good and entertaining movies that leave out any sort of politics...
and they give top ratings to movies pushing some sort of political agenda...
it's unfortunate that people care so much about their ratings because they used to be accurate several years ago.
The top critics seem to omit that most people want to watch a movie when they are done with a long day of work and news reading...
spectators just want to take their mind off, be distracted, be entertained and once in a while, watch something intense and political
please take this into account in your ratings and be as objective as you can be
