An easy option
I like a trip to Røverkøb once in a while when I need something. I'm not "handy" at all, so I appreciate the help/advice that I get contra somewhere like Silvan. It's a more personal service... The only downside is that at least on some essentials they seem quite expensive.

Worst customer service I have experienced in Denmark
I had rented a girafsliber for a day and came back to deliver on their opening hours on Sunday 11:00. At that time the shop was not opened because they had key issues. When a shop assistant finally came with the keys at 11:36, they did not even acknowledge my existence before going in and disappearing in the back office.
I waited 5 minutes before going back and saying that I would appreciate a fast service considering I had been waiting half an hour.
At which point the shop assistant in no friendly terms, responded that the service would not be any faster simply because I complained. I simply explained that I expected some apologies for the waiting time and the lack of acknowledgement of my presence, at which point the the shop assistant answered that it was not his fault that the keys had not been given to the right person and that he wasn't happy either to have to come from Valby on his day off. I expressed my discontent to which he suggested that I take my business at Silvan next time.
This was in Røverkøb Amagerbrogade 66. I would point out that the rude assistant was the tall bearded man and all other staff members had otherwise been very professional. I will however certainly follow his advice and take my business elsewhere where I feel like I am valued and respected as a customer.

Obviously this is unacceptable and it does not live up to our level of costumer service. We are happy to hear that this is an isolated case and that you have recieved acceptable service in the shop, but still ... One time is one too many.
