I am extremely disappointed with this airline’s handling of my luggage. My suitcase has been missing since December 20, 2025, and despite multiple follow-ups, I have received little to no meaningful assistance or resolution.
From the start, communication has been poor. I’ve had to repeatedly reach out for updates, only to be given vague responses or told to “wait.” There has been no accountability, no clear timeline, and no sense of urgency from the airline to resolve this issue. Losing luggage is already stressful, but the lack of proper customer service has made the experience far worse.
This situation has caused significant inconvenience and financial strain, as my belongings were important and not easily replaceable. I expected a higher level of professionalism and care, especially after such a long delay.
At this point, I feel completely let down. I would not recommend this airline to anyone who values reliability, responsibility, or customer service. Travelers deserve better.
Royal air maroc never put my luggage on plane from Toronto to Casablanca. They lost bag for over 6 weeks... It was finally found at Toronto airport....I needed to buy clothes.. toiletries...
Royal air maroc ruined my trip

Be patient..it ruined my trip. I couldn't get all I needed in Morocco. I'm still waiting for compensation. I had to pay Uber to take me over hour and half with traffic to get my luggage at Miami airport
Royal air maroc refused home delivery..FedEx
I was treated horribly...flew business class...awful experience

honstly ,they just don t care .The food the service are poor.to make things worst ,they keep losing our lugages on a direct flight .it takes a week to get to you after it arrives at the airport .no more of this unecessary pain
Luggage
Luggage was delayed by a week - my husbands custom wedding suit was in there, my wedding outfit, plus essentials. The luggage finally arrived 7 days later it was damaged. It took them 4 months to acknowledge the claim - and then their response made no sense. I'm a permanent resident of the US travelling on British passport holder but because I was traveling "home" there's nothing they want to do. They also quoted a convention which states passengers have to register their issue within 180 days I did within 10 days and they told me I had notified them too late
The customer service department…
The customer service department demonstrates a lack of professionalism and efficiency by requiring customers to endure extended waiting periods exceeding an hour, only to terminate the interaction abruptly without resolution.
Book checked luggage at your peril
On a flight with only about 60 passengers flying from Madrid to Casablanca they managed to lose the luggage of 8 passengers (that we know of). I know this happens occasionally but what has been my biggest issue is the total lack of communication we have experienced since lodging our report. We have tried through every channel possible to find out if or when I will get my luggage back so we can resume our trip. So far we have had to cancel 2 hotels and 1 tour at our cost and cannot make any plans for the remainder of our time in Morocco. Their staff just do not care. I wish I had read the many reviews I have now found before we booked with this airline. No saving on flight prices is worth the uncertainty of not knowing if your luggage will make it to the correct destination.
I flew with Royal Air Maroc during the…
I flew with Royal Air Maroc during the holy month of Ramadan on a flight from 15:20 to 19:07. Lunch was served around 16:00. When the flight attendant asked for my meal choice, I explained that I was fasting and kindly asked if my meal could be delayed until sunset so I could break my fast. I was told this was not possible because it would coincide with the landing time.
However, I was surprised to see that dates and traditional Moroccan sweets were later served in Business Class, and one passenger even received a meal just minutes before landing. Meanwhile, fasting passengers in Economy Class were completely overlooked, despite the fact that sunset occurred about 20 minutes before landing. It would have been a simple and respectful gesture to offer even a few dates and a bottle of water.
What was even more surprising is that dates and chebakia were offered to some foreign passengers while fasting passengers were ignored. This created the impression of unequal treatment between Economy and Business Class.
During Ramadan, a Moroccan airline should show basic cultural awareness and hospitality toward fasting passengers. Helping someone break their fast with a simple date and water would have been a small but meaningful gesture.
Old plane, bad food & missing suitcase
The flight was on a plane whose interior hasn’t been updated since the early 90s. The sandwich they served (in business class) was inedible and at a guess 3-4 days old. It was rock hard. What was worse is they failed to put our suitcase and the suitcases of 8 other passengers on the half empty flight.
50 hours later and we are stranded in Casablanca with no clothes. Their communication is poor. We are worried we won’t even get the suitcase back after reading their recent reviews.
I would never fly by choice with them ever again.
Promised compensation after 1.5 years not there
Waiting since 1.5 years for a flight compensation. Customer support starts lying about the claim. Absolute shit! Never again
I booked my flight 147 2426362893 on…
I booked my flight 147 2426362893 on Thursday 13th March, directly with Royal Air Maroc. Unfortunately, I missed my flight from Madrid to Casablanca due to a last-minute gate change. The notification was sent to my Gmail, but I did not have internet access at that moment. By the time I realized the gate had changed and ran there, it was already too late.
At the gate, there were three staff members present, but unfortunately they were not helpful. I was not the only passenger in this situation—three other people had also missed the same flight. The staff did not provide any clear explanation or assistance and simply told us to go to the office. The interaction felt very dismissive, and we were essentially left to figure things out on our own.
Since I needed to travel urgently, I had to book another flight later that evening at my own expense. I did not initially plan to complain, as I understood that missing the flight was ultimately my responsibility.
However, later when I checked the app to add baggage to my return flight, I could no longer see my ticket. After contacting customer service, I was informed that my return flight had been automatically cancelled because I missed the first segment of the journey. I had received no notification about this cancellation.
This was very surprising and concerning. Imagine if I had only discovered this on the day of my return flight on the 24th. Not everyone is aware of this policy, and the lack of communication made the situation much worse.
When I contacted customer service, I was repeatedly told that this was simply “the procedure,” even though it had been less than 24 hours since the missed flight. Unfortunately, there was no attempt to provide a solution or assistance.
This has been my worst experience with an airline, mainly due to the lack of communication and support from both the airport staff and customer service.

They have the worst customer service that has ever existed. The customer service lady call Amy is so rude and lacks basic customer service skills. Please if you are seeing this do not fly with them, or you will regret the day you ever come across this Airlines.

the only airline i actually dislike..i do everything to avoid traveling with them, where possible. the staff are so indifferent, with communication issues. bothering on rude.
Horrible experience with this airline…
Horrible experience with this airline it’s been 8 weeks since they lost our luggage and it’s impossible to get in contact with them. Filled out all the necessary paperwork. No response, everything is automated. Horrible airline customer service that does not respond or try to fix the situation. Just going in circles trying to get in contact with anyone. Do NOT use this airline.
24-Hour Delay and No Meaningful Resolution
24-Hour Delay and No Meaningful Resolution
My experience with Royal Air Maroc was highly unsatisfactory.
I travelled from Malabo to London via Casablanca and arrived at my final destination 24 hours late, effectively losing an entire day. The reason given was “technical checks.” While safety is important, operational and maintenance issues are the airline’s responsibility, not the passenger’s.
What followed was equally disappointing. It took over two months to receive a response to my formal complaint. Such a delay reflects very poor customer service standards.
My checked baggage also remains missing, and this issue is still unresolved.
Despite the scale of the disruption — a full-day delay and missing luggage — the airline offered air miles as a goodwill gesture instead of appropriate monetary compensation. This response does not reflect accountability or customer focus.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this airline. Reliability and proper post-incident handling are essential in air travel, and neither was demonstrated in my case.
I would be interested to know whether other passengers have faced similar delays and complaint handling times.
What a disaster of an airline!
They almost never bother to make (voice) announcements for boarding or delays...lines to bother do not exist.
And try to submit a complain. They'll ask you to fill in all kinds of info: flight date, flight number, ticket number, flight origin, destination etc. When they could load all of that info off of your reservation number. Discouraging.
What a disaster of an airline!
Purchased a business class upgrade…
Purchased a business class upgrade ($2400) for my wife and myself at one of their offices. The agent inadvertently changed the flight date, so when I went to the airport I was told my flight was for the 15th, not the 5th. At the airport, they put me back on the 5th but economy. They would not refund my $2400, said I had to dispute the charge on my credit card. When I did that they lied and deceived the credit card company, saying we changed the date. They are crooks.
It's my worst flight experience and I…
It's my worst flight experience and I am sure not going to fly with them again. I was warned but just wanted to confirm and I am surprised they didn't try to prove otherwise.
Admitted the owed 1000€ but did not pay
They owed me 1000 € in compensation for missing a connection flight. They never paid it and in the end I gave up trying to get it. There were about 20 passengers involved and I guess the did not get it either.
Keeps time
Welcoming staff, they kept time. And enjoyed some wine from their hospitality . The minimum baggage allowance good. Nice air hostess team.
If i could give zero I would
If i could give zero I would. This airline has the worst customer service of all times. Gives such a poor image of Morocco across the entire African continent and beyond. The government should just dismantle it and sell to better managers
