I was excited to receive the treasure hunt coin. From ordering to receiving my coin from the Royal Mint, was a very positive experience. The presentation of the coin and the explanation, was amazing. Just love the excitement of treasure hunts! Thank you Royal Mint!
Ordered the penny drops silver coin. The quality is really good. Cannot fault it.
First time buying bullion. Really wanted to discuss what I was buying with someone. Spend nearly two weeks trying to call and email. Finally got through via the social media page which when discussing precious metals and spending thousands isn’t ideal. Really rubbish service I found.

Product is of course top quality.
Information regarding the delivery and payment early on was not overly clear and a little confusing, mainly saying my purchase was settled when I had not received the item. However, a little patience and the information was updated. As the royal mint advised at the time of my purchase things were very very busy. Delivery for me was around a wee, which isn't unreasonableat all.
Because the product I got was for storing and has no use to me other than it being an investment, timing of the delivery was not critical.
Overall a good experience, the only gripe was the updating of information regarding payment and delivery could be a little quicker, but as stated I was made aware by royal mint that things were very busy.
So far so good, sometimes orders are fast, other times misleading on website delivery estimate. Otherwise very happy with the products
I had no problems placing my order. The item was in stock and arrived a few days later (well packaged and in excellent condition). Very pleased with the service I received.
Coin did not arrive.
Meanwhile price of silver has gone up,Even if I get a refund it will cost me more to buy again.

The treasure hunt coin is a stunning design and it came in beautiful packaging.
Everything arrives very well packaged but orders can take a long time to process. My current order was placed on the 13th Feb and I only received an email stating that it's on its way today, the 2nd March. I also find it a bit difficult finding where my orders are on the website. Some are in Closed Orders and some are in Transaction History.

The items arrived within the time stated. All communication was good. I was pleased with my order.
I have usually received a good service from the Royal Mint, however I am having the unfortunate experience of trying to contact their customer service over an outstanding order.
Placed the order 30/01/26, with an anticipated dispatch date of 3 - 5 days. After a couple of weeks, I checked the status of my order, marked as 'Dispatching soon', checked a week later it had moved to 'Pending'. I received a 'generic' email advising the coin I had ordered was in high demand, and there may be a delay. I had ordered 3 coins in total, so no idea which coin. I used their online query form to request an update 20/02/26, after 8 days there was no response.
Today, 28/02/26 while I'm typing this I am attempting to speak to a customer advisor. So far I'm still currently on hold for 32 mins, with the usual "Apologies for the delay. We're experiencing very high demand at this time.....blah, blah, blah!" Not sure how much longer I'm willing to put my life on hold!
I'm about to post his review and still on hold now at 40mins!!!!!!
Update: Finally got through to customer services after 45 mins - Was advised that my item was dispatched and due for delivery, but the email they sent to confirm had bounced back - The email resent which I received while on phone to agent. Think the service needs improvement!!!!

Bought silver coins and digital silver, both supposed to be in stock and held in their vault. 2 months later nothing. Customer services say don't worry but no actual solution.

Digi bullion. The product itself is good, but remember the Royal Mint is slow working when it comes to payments etc. Also remember that a bank account name is different from its nick name. If you make this mistake your sales money will be bounced back to the Royal Mint.

I thought that with a name that holds 'royal' would be held to a high standard. Guess I was wrong.
I ordered with the Royal Mint on 30 Jan 26. Prior to confirming payment, it stated that delivery would take 5 working day. I had no issue with that.
1 week passed, then two. So I called up asking for my order to be cancelled which they informed me that the order had been collected by the delivery company and that I should receive an email shortly.
3 more days pass and nothing, so I called again, and I was informed that my order had been picked on 03 Feb 26 and had been sat around doing nothing until 23 Feb 26 when I called.
I asked for my order to be cancelled and they put me through to the bullion line where I was 2hrs 30mins before the call went dead.
So I called again on 24 Feb 26 to ask them to get it posted, and asked for a reason why it took them significantly longer to send my order. I've still not had a reply.
Matt was a great help at the end, however the waiting times between calls is awful. You can fly to Madrid from London in less time than it takes for someone to answer the phone!
I will never use this shambles of a company again.

Very fast to buy gold, impossible to sell back.
3 separate occasions I have sold gold coins back to RM and each time they show the transaction as settled without actually paying me.
No answer from customer support line, 5 day wait for emails to be acknowledged, web chat turned off the customer service is appalling.

Worst minting company to purchase from!
I placed an order on January 1st for a limited edition gold piece that was supposed to be struck on January 22, 2026; in addition to other silver pieces. Right after placing the order, the order is confirmed, the entire amount withdrawn, and a legal binding contract has been formed.
The ordered pieces remained available for purchase 2 weeks after placing my order.
All of a sudden in early February, I came to discover on my own that my order has been canceled without any prior notice. No email, no explanation, no refund! I had to take the initiative to inquire about the cancelation. Their unprofessional response was that the item has been "over sold" and they are failing to fully-fill their commitment and deliver the item. This clearly highlights the weakness of their inventory system and their unprofessional service.
I have contacted them multiple times. My lawyer have submitted 2 formal letters to them; yet, until this day, they haven't refunded the money and failed to even answer our messages!
The experience is horrible. They are unreliable and unprofessional. They take your money, they cause inconvenience, they breach their own rules and regulations, yet they run away from their binding responsibilities!
We are already in the process of taking legal actions againt the royal mint.
Stay away from them!
