As a family we have used RSD Care for the last 10 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Every Carer really cares.

Over the past decade, they have provided my elderly aunt with outstanding support, allowing her to safely maintain her independence at home. The staff are always compassionate, patient, and treat her with the utmost dignity.

She’s had several hospital admissions over the years and as she has an established package of care, discharge from the hospital each time has been swift once she has been declared medically fit for discharge, you cannot put a price on knowing she’s going home safely to carers who are pleased to see her and support her ongoing recovery.

Knowing they are there to help her gives our entire family complete peace of mind. Thank you to the whole team for your ongoing dedication.

I wanted to pass on my thanks to RSD Social Care for looking after my uncle so well. The carers have been brilliant and made a challenging situation manageable, my uncle comfortable and his cottage cleaner than it's been in ages. Thank you team!

All carers are polite and helpful. Treat their client with respect and dignity and offer support to the family members too.
Office staff are efficient and easy to communicate with.
We have been in receipt of help for the past 14 months and have been more than satisfied with the service provided.

They are very professional and treated my mother with respect, kindness and empathy and provided wonderful reliable care. From the outset it was clear that RSD Social Care was overpromising on their service. The sales pitch does not accurately reflect the reality and quality of the services you receive. In fact, I would argue that not only is the care of my parent not a priority for the management and organisers of RSD Social Care, but they have gone out of their way to cause us problems and misery.

Despite promises made. Times have been changed by over an hour with no notice. Arrival times have always been erratic at best - That is if a carer has even turned up at all. Some adaptability is expected on our part - for sure. But when the questionable excuses show more consideration for employee mileage and office convenience than they do for actual care - it makes you wonder why somebody with so little empathy and such high value of their own self righteousness would choose to work in an industry they are clearly so ill suited for.

Feces has been left on the bed and covered up on multiple occasions. Several times now, feces has been left on the person in need of care after showering.
We have been told by senior staff that this quality of care is the best in the area, and we are free to go somewhere else if we are not happy with it.

While some of the carers are actually good, they are too few and far between and unfortunately hampered in their ability to care by an office that would bend over backwards to prioritize themselves over their employees or clients.

It’s likely that when people are in need of a service like this, they are probably already incredibly stressed and struggling to cope. So to treat people in what I can only describe as an angry, demeaning, condescending, and thoughtless manner when they are struggling to understand why the rug keeps getting pulled out from underfoot is reprehensible at best. This is self serving behaviour which indicates some sort of petty personal grudge or grievance. Regardless, It is NOT professional or good customer service.

Where is your compassion? Where is your duty of care to your client? Where is your unwavering support for your customers? I have seen no evidence of any of these at RSD Social Care.
