My dad bought a Land Rover Discovery…
My father purchased a car that, unfortunately, had some unforeseen defects. When we raised the issue, Mr. Qasim handled the entire situation with complete professionalism. He managed the return process smoothly and issued a full refund without any delays or complications.
This was service you can truly rely on. Highly recommend for anyone looking to buy with confidence and trust.
Do not go here- Less than 1 star
Less than 1 star. This company from start to finish have been deceitful and ignorant. Bought a car 4 months ago now, within 7 days it had warning lights which I had diagnosed at Mazda which brought up a series of faults worth £3000 +. Contacted the dealer, took them a while to respond and I ended up going via the finance company which they then started to respond. Took the car back, gave me another one of their faulty cars which the exhaust fell off. I was then made to feel I was in the wrong for that when I have evidence and advice from a mechanic to prove bad maintenance of the car. My car was collected from them and within 4 days the same fault came which they claimed the complaints team rushed them and they hadn’t road tested it. Again, because they stated this, I allowed them another chance to fix it as they were within their rights to do so. During this time they collected the car as I refused to drive it, they brought me yet another car which was full of cobwebs, no oil, tyre pressures low etc and warning lights again which I have proof of. I let them know every time but no response via emails and messages unless they wanted something from me. The car was then rejected via complaints after an independent inspection proved faults at point of sale and I am now in communications with the ombudsman and solicitors because the dealership and the complaints team seem to think that sending me over pictures of scratches on the car whilst dirty (bearing in mind it couldn’t be driven so no chance of a clean) no report, no other evidence than this constitutes the dealer keeping £3500 of my deposit and only returning £500. They are by far the worst and to be avoided in all circumstances as they have no interest once they have your money. Unfortunately I gave them an extra chance which they shouldn't have had. I would advise anyone who has dealings with them to go seek legal action and also reporting them to trading standards. RS motors anything you try and say back, I have evidence of everything, the emails, the messages or lack of, the MOT I’ve let you know about. You have gone too far with this one.
🚨 Consumer Warning
🚨 Consumer Warning – RS Motors Nottingham 🚨
Bought a Mazda CX‑5 from RS Motors Nottingham on 1 Aug 2025. Less than two months later (26 Sep 2025) the radiator blew, engine overheated, car undriveable.
Dealer refused to take responsibility, despite Consumer Rights Act 2015 giving me the right to reject a faulty car.
Other reviews suggest a pattern of dodgy cars and poor service. Be careful if buying from them — do your research!

Disappointing Experience. Buyers beware
Disappointing Experience – Buyer Beware I purchased a vehicle from RS Motors Nottingham and within days, serious issues emerged—including oil drainage and mechanical faults that were not disclosed at the time of sale. Despite raising concerns promptly, the dealer was unresponsive and dismissive.I’ve since had to escalate the matter through formal complaints, SARs, and regulatory bodies including Trading Standards and the Motor Ombudsman. The lack of transparency and accountability has been deeply frustrating.I strongly advise others to conduct thorough checks, request full service history, and be cautious when dealing with this business.Consumer rights matter—and I will continue to pursue a fair resolution.
The Qasim guy is a terrible customer service person. He would only be nice when u are paying. He becomes dismissive after the sales and a terrible liar. Autotrader please do something.
Avoid !!
So around 4 months ago I arranged to go and view a car , I arrived on the agreed date , and was told they weren’t expecting me and when looking at the car I could see it was not ready as the mirror covers where all off and just been painted and other paint work was being touched up , after phone calls they put everything together land I went a short test drive , during this test drive I noticed the clutch pedal seem very stiff and a bit juddery on the biting point , and was assured that that’s how Mazdas drive and they sell them all the time and maybe because I was used to a different brand , so after that as the car was a gift for my partner and it was the car she’s wanted and I drove 5 hours to get the car I just bit the bullet so to speak and went ahead and purchased the car ,
Around 4 hours into driving home the brakes on the car failed and almost caused a collision, the car was then recovered to my address , then taken to the Mazda dealership the next day were I paid for a full inspection and diagnostic, to my shock there was a number of major faults with the car, and I was quoted £7000 to to repair it , so after that and the the incident on the motor way we were put off of the car and decided to refuse the car and use mu consumer rights and the 14 day cooldown period to get a full refund ,
Soon as I told the dealership this were were not very helpful at all and didn’t respond to my messages like they did before , after realising they weren’t going to help , I had to raise a complaint to the finance company and explain what has happened , after a long process they sent out engineers to inspect the car and they reported that the car was indeed faulty at the time of sale , eventually 10 weeks after the sale the dealership finally came and collected the car , the finance company refunded my finance and paid me back my monthly payments and was told the dealership will pay me back the money I paid
Upfront , but still 4 weeks since then I’m still waiting and no sign of my money , I’ve been all this time with no car , and the money is needed to go toward a new car but as I haven’t had my refund I’ve been unable to buy a new car and cars that I’ve seen and really wanted to buy have since sold as I’ve waited ,
So I’m now in the process of dealing with a trading standards officers that citizens advice has referred me too , I have to lodge a complaint also with the ombudsmen and had to update the finance company’s complaints team ,
This has been such a stressful and annoying process that I would not wish on anyone and my message to anyone thinking about buying a car from these back street car traders is AVIOD at all cost , save your money , save your mental health and sanity , and run as far as u can because once they capture you , you’ll be in for a hell of a ride and be shown first hand how unprofessional, unorganised and arrogant these people can be , very nice once your buying , not so nice and helpful once you have a problem and want your money back , and if they are any way of prolonging the process and making things harder to returned the car and get a refund , these guys will do it ,
Also I would just like to add since we are “clarifying “ now , I left a review recently explaining my honest experience with this company , and ofcourse they didn’t like what I said and decided to lie and say in a reply and say the finance company had the car because I never kept up with payments , this is false , I have photos of them collecting the car them self’s and there’s also on my outside cctv , the finance company never collected the car , also I never once “missed any payments” to the finance company hence why they fully refunded me my 2 monthly payment that I did infact pay on time , and the complaints team assured me that the “dealership” would refund me my upfront payment , unlike these jokers I have all the evidence and emails to back up all of my claims as they are the truth , but there false responses is obviously a desperate attempt to hide there guilt and try to discredit my review which i see is very disappointing , all I asked for was my money back after they took there car back , and instead of doing this they have lied and made up excuses and story about how they have already sent the money to my account and that I have given them the wrong details and trying to make out it was my mistake that I’ve not had my refund yet , even though the details have been sent via copy and pasted and a screen shot , they really have tryed and played all the tricks in the book of being rouge traders ,
Also i may add I’ve been nothing but patient and reasonable about the whole situation up until recently when I realised something wasn’t right , then ofcourse I now have a bitter taste in my mouth as no one likes to feel like they’re being scammed out of a substantial amount of money hence why I decided to write this long review about my situation to make people aware of how I’ve been treated .
Thanks for reading
Dodgy dealer!!
Brought a car from this company through finance and within 10 days two injectors had gone in the car! Had them repaired and further faults have come up! Only used the car for 10 days and now that I’m in my right to refuse the vehicle as I don’t trust it anymore the company are been hard and not customer friendly about it! They are trying to blame it on me when the warranty company the garage have clearly stated it was a prior to sale fault! Do not trust this company they are dodgy dealers!!
Dodgy company
Dodgy company, the car I was looking at failed an MOT on the 17th April due to the horn not working. Passed an MOT on 23rd April and today I had a test drive. The horn was still not working and I have never heard of the garage that they have taken it to for work to be done on it. DODGY COMPANY!
