Calling out Customers in Mass email
I just recieved an email form this company explaining a one star review. They decided to blast a customer for leaving their honest opinion on a site.
This seems like a bad practice. Instead of saying, "we will try to do better" they sent an email stating why the customer was wrong.

We wanted to address the review in an email to explain our service, values and how we handle queries. This is a public forum and whilst anyone can leave a review we also have the right to reply.
In this case the customer wanted a refund and 2 free items for a missing parcel.
As a small independent brand our relationship with our customers is our priority. We didn’t blame the customer for leaving a review or say it was wrong to do so. We stated that the demand was unfair (a refund AND 2 free items) and we will always aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours and if there’s any issues with orders to get in touch with our support team at sales@rugbywarfare.com.
And from there we explained the steps we are taking to further improve our customer relations with sample testing, a new app beta testing group and our first big touch rugby tournament next year.
We’re not going to talk like corporate drones at Rugby Warfare. We say it how it is in a fair and direct manner. The rugby way.
If people want top quality rugby merch, made by people that love the sport and want a service handled by a team that cares, shop with us.
If people want to rinse a company of every penny for delivery mishaps outside of their control go to a multi national company that tends to fall for these demands.
We stand up for what’s right.

Site was easy to navigate
Site was easy to navigate, shipping was really quick and tons of updates on shipping. I can’t stop buying their clothing! Fit is perfect, it’s flexible material allows me to workout freely without feeling uncomfortable. Can’t fault rugby warfare, keep up the great work.

If you directly compared RW against “bigger” brands you would assume RW would cost the most. Easily the best feel, look or fit to any brand I’ve ever had.
Across all items you can tell that fit and function is at the forefront of their minds and they nail it every time.

Shorts not sent
I've got to say Not very good service. Bought some shorts then got confirmation that it was been dispatched . Waited and waited then had to get in touch with them. Came up with excuses about people been off ill , sorry that's not exceptable what an awful experience. I wanted the shorts for last weekend and the company had not even sent shocking. After the shocking service the company should send me a new pair and a second pair for the inconvenience. Rubbish. Had a response from company on reviews site. They think I've been harsh come on, you sent me an email to say they were sent. Which they wasn't. Then I had to chase up to find out what was going on. Then you blame royal mail. How can you blame royal mail when they haven't received item come on. Then you blame people been ill short staffed at your company. This is not been harsh just except you made a mess of the order.

This is an unfair review. As a small company and human beings who love the sport and what we do, let me explain what happened.
Royal Mail does not have a 100% delivery rate and performance has dropped recently. To quote the recent review:
"Royal Mail has today announced that it did not meet the above performance targets in 2022/23, as it:
Delivered 73.7% of First Class mail within one working day;
delivered 90.7% of Second Class mail within three working days; and
completed 89.35% of delivery routes for each day on which a delivery was required."
We explained this to Matthew that we had sent it and were waiting for updates from RM.
After a few days, we agreed to refund him as this item is clearly lost, and we will put in a complaint with RM which takes up to 90 days to settle lost items.
Matthew then demanded we send him a free pair of shorts and refund him. We declined to do this as we had already refunded him in full.
Demands like this by customers on small, independent brands are unjustified. Matthew is not out of pocket, and we swiftly refunded him when his order got lost.
Unfortunately, no delivery company has a 100% delivery rate, we wish this was the case though as the brand that sends gets the blame and not the delivery company itself.
We love what we do for our customers, we will always swiftly act on service issues and address them.
It's unfortunate to get into disputes like this that were settled quickly and fairly.

It was sent, and when there were no more updates for a few days by RM we've refunded you as this typically indicates it's lost. We're not holding your money or telling you to wait for it, we have had this happen before, and we refund now instead of you waiting for longer. This is a fair resolution to this issue. We've submitted a claim to the RM for a lost item, it takes them up to 90 days to process.

Best gym/training gear on the market.
Put an order in around 1/2am on friday morning. Sent an email the same time explaining i was off on holiday in a few days, they were kind enough to send it tracked24 so i had the items by the saturday morning. Couldn’t get over the quality of the customer service. Best quality gym/running clothes i think i’ve ever had. They fit so well, colours are so nice and i couldn’t be happier with my order. Much better quality and price than any other company like gymshark etc. Will definitely be placing another order soon.

Amazing quality
Been using Rugby Warfare for a good few years now. I won’t go anywhere else for gym and holiday clothes! Shorts are a perfect rugby length short ideal for training! I do hope in future there’s an option for a slightly longer short length, it would fit in really well with the range! V5 performance tees are just brilliant, fit lovely at the top and has a nice breathable belly area. The length is perfect, it hides the old belly doing overhead movements!!
Never had an issue and always got a quick reply when asking questions!

You won’t find better quality gym wear anywhere, full stop. Fit, comfort and durability of T-shirts and shorts are unmatched. On top of that the customer service is fantastic. I emailed as I had a last minute decision change on my items and were able to change my order before it was dispatched.10/10

Been using Rugby Warfare since 2016, still have the 3/4 length sleeve tops, which shows the durability and quality of their products.
The V5 tees are a god send especially in the new Firestone colourway. Tight enough across chest and arms but loose enough to hide the podge. Can honestly say I can’t find a comfier tee for either lounging around or working out.
The quality continues with the shorts, flexible, durable and good looking.
