A Great Shopping Centre in a Great Environment

My wife and I count ourselves so lucky having this amazing place on the doorstep of our home in Higham Ferrers.
The management who oversee this shopping centre have implemented all the right ingredients to make it successful, well done!
Free parking, great staff who keep it clean and control the traffic in a very efficient and friendly way at peak times.
I was in Milton Keynes for many years and as a husband avoided The Centre like the plague whereas I can't wait to get down to 'The Lakes' it definitely for me has the 'Feel Good Factor'.
One of the best Shopping Centres I know - please keep it as it is (it works) and to anyone reading this give it a try.

A great day out

A fantastic half-way point for those of us from the Midlands to meet up with family who live in the Home Counties. There's lots to do on a rainy day: cafes, restaurants, shops, indoor mini golf. If it's sunny next time we'll also enjoy walking around the beautiful lakes. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to the default parking limit of 5 hours. We were able to extend this by seeking out a security guard who happened to be wandering about, but it did add a layer of unnecessary stress in the interim, thinking we may have to cut our visit short. Given there's nothing else really about, I can't see why this limit is necessary. Other than that, it's a great day out and I'm sure we'll be visiting again soon.

Not worth the hassle

Tried going today but could not find parking. This is the worst designed complex I have ever been to. Should have kept going around the round about on the A45 and turned around then. Took me 35+minutes to leave the complex once we realised I was never going to find parking. People were driving stupidly as well and families darted out to cross wherever they wanted. How’s the shopping? I’ll never know.

Super dry - Rushden Lakes

The second time I have been in this particular shop. Both times the experience was made much better by their assistant manager, Petrina. She clearly has her team fully behind her and was brilliant in finding what we needed. Proper customer experience here!

Never go here

The worst designed location in the world. Spent an hour trying to park. Couldn't. Missed our cinema showing. Left. If the whole complex fell into the earth I would be very happy indeed.

Frazers , Rushden Lakes avoid avoid avoid

Went to buy perfume for my daughter from House of Frazer, perfume was priced at £52, after going to the till the cashier said it was £94, I showed her the price tag and she checked all other stock, everyone was £52, on calling her Supervisor (polly) she was told not to serve me and remove from sale, no apology, no feedback just they'd missed the price review, Polly was nothing but rude, my last time in this shop appalling service, no wonder chains are closing with service such as this

M&S Cafe

Visited M&S Cafe for b’fast/lunch was disappointed that a full English b’fast was not on the menu as is the case in other M&S Cafe’s .Ordered a fully loaded b’fast roll which wasn’t available. So ended with a slightly stale ciabatta bacon roll ,to top it all off as I was paying water from a leaky roof landed on my head .I use M&S cafés quite frequently despite mixed results but I wouldn’t recommend M&S Café at Rushden lakes .

Poor value for money…

We visited with 2 children. The staff were pleasant and the food came quickly. The food for the 2 adults was OK but the children's food was awful, the chicken was dry and the noodles had congealed into a blob on the plate. The children refused to wat it.The only reason we didn't complain was because the youngest child aas tired and we just wanted to go home.

Yesterday afternoon went to the Rushden…

Yesterday afternoon went to the Rushden lake H&M shop, wanted to buy two trousers, asked for help for one of the member ( male , can’t remember his name) as with membership should be automatically applied 20% off at the till, was at self checkout at that time and asked for help. He was really rude and said I can only apply for the 20% off for one trouser. Asked him to please take off one and I will buy it separately and my daughter buy it separately as both of us have membership. He was not even wait to finish my sentence left us, I went to the checkout wait for my turn, in the meantime he went the the shop assistant who was at the till and told her only let me to apply it for one trouser, not the other. Honestly we don’t understand why he was so rude. We did show the lady if I buy it online is automatically applied for two trousers, at the end the lady said , yes it is for trousers, not for only one trouser. Otherwise I would just left and buy it online. He should not work with customers with this attitude. Please see security cameras at 2:30pm I was there with my two daughters. Paid at the till 2:41pm. Disappointing, left the shop with bad experience.

Chi Restaurant

Chi Restaurant, YUK, over priced low grade dog food, £16.00 ( plus 12.1% service charge ) for Roast duck and Pancakes, enough duck to put in just two pancakes, the duck meat was so poor the bones were actually softer. First time in this place and for sure the last . cant think of place where the food was that bad ever
