Ordered for an outdoor bar in our garden, we are over the moon with how the walls have turned out and think it looks amazing.

Good selection of products with clear description of what you will get. You have to read the details but all the information is there. The wood I ordered came exactly as expected and was perfect for the headboard I wanted to make. Delivery was a little slower than expected but a quick phone call sorted that. Altogether a great recycling product.

Ordered to do a diy project in the garden to build an outdoor kitchen. Worked really well for what I wanted to do and was great trying to arrange the different styles to put together.

Excellent quality planks with plenty of feature grains. Definitely will use again and highly recommended.

Ordered from rustic direct as the price was good value. Delivery was longer than I would have liked and I had to email to chase up. Overall great product at a very good price and finished my feature wall off great.

Easy process, we ordered over Christmas so took a little longer than usual but we were kept well informed. Product is exactly as described. We wanted alternate lengths width and depth, to leave a random finish. Good advice always to let wood dry properly prior to insulation to avoid shrinkage. I created a booth for our dining room table. It is highly likely that people/children would run their hands along the surface so I did sand each piece a little bit more, but for most projects this would be unnecessary. Looks great, competitive price, would use again. All around great.

Really like the wood and finish of our project. I see a lot of complaints about the wood being different thicknesses but we were made aware of that before it came and were prepared for it. It did go over the original delivery date but we got a response when we contacted them and the delivery came a few days later. For the price the wood is very good and takes a stain or wash well. A couple of things to note: It will shrink down a bit so make sure to leave it in the room it’s going to be in for at least a week before using it to acclimatise. It’s reclaimed wood so make sure to order enough to work around any size or nail hole variance. We would use them again.

Awful company to deal with, definitely avoid, took over 4 weeks to arrive, they never answer the phone or return the calls after leaving answer phone messages, says the quickest way to get hold of them is email yet they don’t reply back, they didn’t send us the correct the meant product that we ordered because they don’t reply to emails or answer the phones we’ve had to order extra from somewhere else , what they did send us some of it was unusable and bad quality.
Definitely worth to shopping elsewhere

Recomended by friend to use this company.Had couple little problems on order buy quickly sorted by lovely person called Chole.Nothing was to much of a problem for her to sort out. Chole is a asset to this company and big 10 out 10 for cutomer services.

Slight delay on delivery however product arrived a week or so late. Minor issue with wood however good customer service rectified the issue. Nails were cut out and the wood had good character.

Excellent product wood was different sizes which really adds a nice effect on our wall. Good service bit of a delay with delivery but well worth the wait (1 week ).

Please do not place orders with this company as you will not get what you ordered. I have read with interest a reply from Rustic Direct on the 10/3/2024 that the company is back to full staffing levels and normal service has resumed. This is not the case. Like others I have tried unsuccessfully to get information on when my order will be delivered. Again, I have not even in the last 4 weeks been able to speak to anyone directly and I have been fobbed off with emails saying my order will be ready for shipping next week. I have been waiting since February for my picket fencing and at my wits end as to how I get my goods or my money back. My experience date is the date which I placed the order on a 7 working day delivery!

Awful. No communication.I am waiting for my order and have left messages both voice and email (as requested by the answering service of this company). I’ve had absolutely no response. I see there are comments about staff shortages in other replies… perhaps you should stop taking people’s money until you have the capacity to fulfil your current order obligations.

I have been using this company in the past twice and the service, the delivery and the wood had been amazing.
This time though it’s absolutely a nightmare. The order has not arrived yet (I placed the order 3 and half weeks ago), I have called multiple times and send several email with no reply. I have finally received an email a week ago saying that there was a stuff shortage due to illness and that my order was going to be ready to be shipped by the end of the week. And then I didn’t hear anything anymore!
