Con artists run by children
Con artists run by children. Conning a young family out of £150 because our ‘I.T’ brand luggage was 3mm over their own sizes. Avoid these guys at ALL COSTS because the cheap flight is a trap. They screw you in other ways. Rude staff saying ‘if I was me I would have read and stuck to tie rules’ knowing that us customers know what size airlines require baggage to be generally. They make their own size with tint differences and screw you at the gate. AVOID AVOID AVOID
We have connecting flight in Denmark
We have connecting flight in Denmark. My bag don't fit in the compartment. They charge 49 pounds . And there are another non priority people they don't charge from those . Because they are European . I am indian so we face racsim . The attitude is not acceptable at all . I never ever fly again with this airline. I also recommend to people do fly with this airline .🙏🙏🙏
Never again!
I purchased a package holiday through a travel agent who told me I needed to download the Ryanair app to download my boarding passes. The app had all my holiday details on it and it said I would need airport parking so I paid for the parking on the Ryanair app. When I arrived at the car park the barrier didn't open so I pressed the help button and the guy on the other end said as I had paid twice for the parking it had confused the system. When I looked into this, I had paid the travel agent for parking and didn't need to buy it from Ryanair so I have tried to get a refund from Ryanair who gave me a phone number for the car park, the car park cant talk to me because Ryanair paid for the parking on my behalf and Ryanair dont want to talk about it as they 'cant help!' £82.77 out of pocket, both landings were terrible as they have a fuel saving way of landing and taking the first exit off the runway instead of using the whole runway, apparently it saves them around £1000 in fuel according to a pilot friend of mine who flies their planes for them. No greeting or smiles from the airline staff, Priority booking means nothing when they hold the plane up leaving you standing on a staircase with your luggage for over half an hour when the flight is already an hour late,
I would never recommend using Ryanair and would definitely not pay for parking through them.
Horrific
Horrific! Tens of us lost our Ryanair flights yesterday between 1.30 and 5pm at Stansted. The security lines were huge with hundreds of passangers. It took over 1h to go through security. Ryanair knew we were stuck in security because we all had checked in and checked our bags. I have never left with a Ryanair flight that actually closed doors before departure time. They would embark passangers until the last minute. Now, they saw an opportunity to make more money out of tens of passangers and closed doors early. The flight was there. They refused to board us but they had the time to get our luggage out of the plane. Horrific service. Other airlines inform their customers if there are problems or delays at airports. Their customer service offered a seat on a 5am flight next day, but you still had to pay £100 and all the charges for the bags again. I am a passanger with mobility issues and can't access the airport that early. The behaviour of the Ryanair customer service left me feeling that they do not care for passangers with disabilities like myself. I will contact the Ombudsman on account of my disability and lodge a complaint.
After waiting all year for 10 days…
After waiting all year for 10 days respite from my exhausting role as guardian to my 5 year old Autistic granddaughter, I was stopped at Teesside Airport with one of my bags and told to pay £75 despite it fitting in the compartment!!!!!!
Horrible hard-faced attitude. Clearly incentivized ground staff. Both my bags fit!!!!!!! I’m still on the tarmac and I just want to get off the plane and go home. I have scraped together the funds for this trip and this loss has just ruined it. Good job I booked half board because at least I will eat.
NEVER BOOK Ryanair lied to me & i'm epileptic
On March 9th, at Manchester Airport, I presented my boarding pass and inquired with a male Ryanair representative at the gate regarding the necessity of checking in my 10kg case. I was assured that it was not required. Given that this was my first digital booking and I experience epilepsy, I sought further clarification, and the representative ensured me that it was fine. Subsequently, I proceeded through security with my 10kg case and holdall without incident. However, upon reaching the boarding gate, a young female Ryanair attendant informed me that my 10kg case was not allowed onboard, even though other passengers were permitted to bring their's on. I was informed that it would need to be checked in or left behind, which I could not do as it contained some of my medication. I was then charged £60 for this service, which I find unacceptable given the prior assurance from your staff. On the return journey.
On March 14th, at Alicante Airport, I inquired with the female Ryanair gate agent regarding the acceptance of my 10kg case and holdall. She confirmed its acceptability and I recounted my prior incident coming. She explicitly stated that checking these items was not required. Subsequently, I passed through security without incident and boarded the flight with both my 10kg case and holdall, incurring no additional charges. So why did I get charged flying out but not coming back and before you say it depends on the airport that is not a good enough because your the same company. The return flight experience was unsatisfactory, offering only a single meal option of (curry) and a restricted beverage selection consisting of tea, coffee, or wine. As a result, I will not be recommending or using Ryanair's services in the future.
Just read how badly you're treating…
Just read how badly you're treating Rosie with her lost suitcase. It is your responsibility to ensure the suit case arrives and you're still arguing about it 2 years later after you lost it. How much lower can you get.
immediately noticed mistaken booking yet still refused refund
Accidentally booked flight from wrong Airport. Immediately contacted Ryanair to cancel (as they did not actually have a flight from my airport). And they refused, even though the flight was 3 months away and I booked it only minutes ago.
Taking my money for a service that won't be provided... feels like a scam
TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE. Do not book your car park stay with Ryanair. It’s a scam and you will have to pay again. Please go directly to the source. They refuse to provide booking reservation so Stansted cannot find the car park confirmation. Have to fork out an additional £100 for parking now.
Disgraceful robbing bastards!!
Booked a last minute flight and the bastards charged me £55 to check in at the airport and closed online check in 2 hours before. I was not notified about this. Disgraceful. They claim to be the cheapest airlines but penny pinch at every opportunity. Shocking
Flight booked in June this year
Flight booked in June this year, two seats booked and paid for. Received an email last week saying aircraft had been changed and 1 seat reserved was cancelled. I can honestly say I have spent over 10 hours trying to do something really simple and book another seat! The online payment portal is a joke, it never works despite doing everything suggested by them. I call twice, you can't actually speak to anyone! I've emailed twice and received useless bot replies. You'd think I wanted to buy shares in the company....I just want to reserve a seat next to mine! I wonder if Ryanair gets off on being so bad! Maybe ruining peoples holiday makes them happy. Moral of the story....avoid Ryanair like the plague! I'll now attempt to change the flight with booking.com
Customer service is abysmal
Customer service is abysmal. 1 hour 10 minutes on hold to get the most rude, grumpy, unprofessional woman who did not care an ounce for the Customer.
Could not provide any information. Could barely give advice.
If she work in our business, she would be sacked immediately.
Their customer service is apparently budget no frills also. Terrible
I had a flight cancelled and can't withdraw from my wallet
I had a flight cancelled. I cannot withdraw the money as i don't have the original bank card. i requested 7 times i wanted a manual transfer but they refuse to listen. constantly mark my support case as resolved and give me incorrect information and links.
Didn't get extra leg room i paid for
I paid for extra leg room seats for our group (row 16 and 17) yet when I boarded the plane the extra leg room seats were rows 17 and 18. I attempted to get a refund but they just argue that the aircraft wasn't changed and I got the row/seats I chose. I can prove I paid for extra leg rooms seats yet we just go round in a circle with their online chat. I tried to phone but impossible to speak to someone.
A lady who travels reguarly said they always do it and it just depends on the plane where the extra leg room are actually rows 16/17 or 17/18. Obviously row 17 avoids this problem which I know for the future (and probably why these get booked up first)
A really snide tactic
A really snide tactic. I bought a return flight to Edinburgh from London, for £40, leaving on a Monday and back on a Tuesday. They wouldn't allow me to check in for the return flight the day before so I forgot until I was on the way to the airport. I went to the check in desk and apparently although I was 2 hours early for my flight, I missed the check in window by 15 minutes and have to pay £55. This is absolutely disgraceful.
Sometimes, businesses need to understand that one terrible tactic like this can put someone off them for life. It's certainly done that for me. I am never going to use Ryanair again.
As bad as everyone says
I thought "they're still in business, they can't be that bad". I was wrong. App gave me an error when trying to check in, thought I would ask at the desk when I got to the airport. Got charged 55euro to check in because I didn't screen grab the error that appeared before. Naive of me to think goodwill might still exist. Have learned my lesson and will avoid this airline in the future.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Not wonder why they have 1.4 raiting
Flight delay caused disruption and extra costs
I flew with Ryanair on FR8688 from London Stansted to Gdańsk on 13 Feb 2026. The flight was delayed due to crew availability, which was outside my control.
Because of the delay, I arrived late at my car rental desk and was charged £32, and our hotel check-in was around 2 am. I submitted a complaint asking for a goodwill gesture, but Ryanair closed my case without acknowledgment.
I share this to highlight how even short delays can cause real disruption, and how customer care was handled in this instance.
Horrible app experience
Horrible app experience. £55 check in fee if you leave it until the last two hours? Fee to book seat if you try to check in too early. Awful company.
Dear Ryanair Customer Service,
Dear Ryanair Customer Service,
Monday 26 January from London Stansted airport
I am writing to formally complain about the aggressive and unprofessional behavior of a staff member at airport security. I was charged £60 for my small rucksack, which weighed only 23 kg. I believe this charge was completely exaggerated. Despite this, I was treated with hostility and spoken to in a completely unacceptable manner.
This kind of behavior and excessive charging is not what I expect from an airline of Ryanair’s reputation. I request that this incident be investigated thoroughly, that clarification be provided regarding the charge, and that appropriate action be taken to ensure staff treat passengers respectfully in the future.
I have the photo with my bags I can prove it was small
I look forward to your prompt response.
