Nice looking block.
Bought a magnetic knife block, very well made good price and quick delivery. Only thing to be aware of is how heavy your knives are, especially at the handle. Mine are quite heavy and tend to slide down the block so have to keep adjusting them. Obviously the block itself can't be overly magnetic otherwise it will be a struggle to remove a knife for use.

This review represents the third order I have placed for Samuel Staniforth Chef knives. This time a 3” turner. As always beautifully made and balanced, and very sharp. An ideal knife for preparing fruit and vegetables, the design and shape makes the job simple. The knife was made to order and the short wait well worthwhile. The price is highly competitive for a tool which is aesthetically pleasing and a delight to own. These are knives for the serious cook, whether professional or domestic, and add to the joy of cooking. A great product made, and worthy part of a revered tradition.

I bought a Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife for my adult grandson a few Christmases ago with black blade and handle then last week i saw the brass handle polished blade and had to have one, even my daughter said it was beautiful. Keep up your high standards.

Great high quality knives
Great high quality knives; worth the cost and traditionally crafted. I needed to replace my broken Richardson Sheffield kitchen knife; I DESPISE Richardson Sheffield for putting the Sheffield name on Chinesium and will NEVER touch Richardson again!
I would recommend to anyone looking for a premium chef's knife / bread knife; local to me as I'm in Derbyshire and your factory is in Halfway on the Derbyshire / S Yorks border!
