SAB Bank Saudi Arabia

SAB Bank Saudi Arabia - Phone Banking/Helpline

The banking services are good overall like any other bank today but the reason I’d avoid them is that when you have an issue, it is extremely frustrating to talk to a person to get your issue resolved through phone banking. Of course one could visit a bank branch to resolve an issue but that consumes time. In my opinion, most services can be availed via online channels today. However when a customer calls, it’s usually for an issue they could not resolve or need someone to assist. How can a bank miss such a basic understanding of how customers interact with them as a business???
The call menu is super frustrating and there is no clear option of how to get human assistance. The wait times for the only menu choice “complaints” where I could possibly talk to a human took 15+ minutes and I got frustrated and dropped the call, another instance I only had patience for 5 minutes into the call. All this when there’s a dedicated helpline for “Advance” customers- I wonder what happens to the regular account holders. By the way, they don’t even call back - I mean if they see customer waited for 5-15 minutes and dropped the call, shouldn’t they have the basic courtesy to arrange a call back? Has their Management not been given lessons in basics of Customer Experience and Customer Service????

Please explore other banks in addition to SAB Bank.
