Such a traumatic experience after…

Such a traumatic experience after visiting this store in Covent Garden.
They encourage you to come in by offering free sample. When in your encouraged to buy products and prices start off very high prices which seems unrealistic and then reduced to encourage you to buy.
I felt very vulnerable when I got home as the products are not all sakare.
I had my young son with me and he said “ you got scammed” as he heard the same sales pitch outside to other customers
Felt embarrassed he witnessed this.
As this company is in convent garden you expect it is high end cosmetics.
The lady to be fair is just doing her job trying to sell to earn a living but I think those staff are capable of more than this horrible company.
This company has such bad reviews I’m afraid to use the products I’ve paid for.
I would not mind if the products were good but all reviews seem to say they are not. I feel now vulnerable and I have had the worst couple of years and wanted to treat myself but not feel so embarrassed.I was going to go back but got no receipt. I think the consumer ombudsman needs to review this company’s practices.

Scammy sales pitch but the product is good

Ok so the sales pitch is scammy, but the mineral peeling I’m really quite impressed with. It removes all the dead skin in a minute and lives your face looking like a baby bum. Im almost 40 and I have rosacea. I did not react to this at all. No other pealing I have ever used before did that. But I’m even more impressed with how it transformed my cracked heals. I have been battling this problem for years and I’n one evening I achieved baby bum heels ready for summer. Wow… I’m not easily impressed, I have PhD in pharmacology and have been working in pharma my entire life, including in aesthetics. I have no idea if the ingredient list is genuine or not, but my feet love it and I’ll be back for more.

We were scammed to buy their peeling Gell, and two salt scrub in Covent Garden London branch, which is different to what we tried in the store, we only noticed it when we reached home and also confirmed with others. This is by far the WORST experience we’ve ever had with a skincare product – and that says a lot. We were completely scammed by this company, and now we're escalating this case to the relevant authorities. They assumed we were tourists because we mentioned our country of origin – BIG mistake. We are locals, and we won’t let this slide.

Not only was the product outrageously overpriced, but after having it tested, we discovered the ingredients are extremely dangerous and of shockingly low quality. What’s advertised is absolutely not what’s in the product. Our skin had immediate allergic reactions, and further inspection revealed that the product contains not safe for all skin application.

It’s clear they prey on people who they think are unfamiliar with local consumer protection laws. Deceptive sales tactics, false labeling, and health risks – this company has crossed every possible line. We’ve already taken steps to report this to health and consumer safety authorities and will make sure this scam is publicly exposed.

Avoid at all costs. This is not just a bad product – it's a health hazard and a scam operation.

Not good quality

I start by saying no one forced me to buy anything. Usual marketing gimmick of a girl at the stand asking me to try the hand scrub and lotion which I tried but didn’t buy. Then the sales girl suggested I try the mineral peel which seemed nice but very expensive. She offered to use her employee discount and immediately waived off 50%… should have been the first flag. Still not bad. However when I got home and used it, the product quality is just poor. Don’t waste your money on it.

don’t usually take the time to leave…

don’t usually take the time to leave reviews, but my experience today left me utterly shocked and compelled to share. As I walked past a boutique, I politely declined the offer for a free cream. To my disbelief, one of the male staff members retaliated with a crude insult in French: “Nique ta mere.”

Luckily, I understood exactly what he said and made it clear that I did. To my surprise, he showed no remorse, almost reveling in his rude behavior. It’s astonishing to think that someone working in a boutique would insult a passerby simply for saying, “no thank you.”

Isn’t it reasonable to expect mutual respect as adults? Experiences like this make me question the kind of environment these places promote. I genuinely hope someone from the boutique sees this and addresses the conduct of their staff

Great Products, Intense Sales Experience

Like many others, I was first drawn into the store by the passion fruit salt scrub demonstration. At first, I wondered if I had been pressured into buying it, but to my surprise, I loved the product even more once I got home.

I’ve since returned to buy more, this time with intent. The sales staff are very enthusiastic—sometimes overly so—but they are friendly. Their approach to selling can feel intense, and I think that cultural difference is why some people walk away feeling uneasy or even scammed.

That said, I genuinely love the products and will continue to purchase the scrub because it works wonders for my skin. While the sales tactics may not be for everyone, the quality of the products speaks for itself.

Feeling fooled.

Feeling fooled.
Should have known if somethings too good to be true it usually is.
After being asked twice to come into store we did and was demonstrated the salt scrub and lotion on our hands. After a while of it being on and arriving at home by hands feel hot and sore.
My husband was asked if she could try an under eye product which was a lie and had make up in. It started to wear off and crumble under his eyes so we used a wipe and make up come off onto the wipe. Luckily we didn’t buy this.
We did buy an exfoliating face product which I am too scared to try. I told her I have sensitive skin so won’t be risking this after reading other reviews.
The prices kept changing and more and more deals were offered to us which seemed odd.
I paid by credit card and will be returning these products and hope to get my money back.

Scam shop, poor products

Unfortunately, my husband got scammed before Christmas, buying me over £250 worth of beauty products that are very poor quality and not what you see as samples in the store. The packaging is cheap, ingredients is basically what you could buy from a supermarket for £2. They are clever as a lot of people going in the store are tourists so unlikely to return the items. The receipt we have is wrong and they said that at the time (made a mistake, but clearly this is tactic). Keep to the brands you know and stay away. I'm reporting them to trading standards.

On my way to lunch in Covent…

I was on my way to lunch in Covent Garden and a lovely chap was giving out samples. He demonstrated the handcare products and OMG I have never felt such luxury. The quality is amazing and he put the puffiness corrector under my eyes and instantly you noticed the difference, tight skin minimal wrinkles. I'm hooked. I can't wait for my next visit. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable, excellent service.

Scam Scam SCAM

Scam Scam SCAM - these people LIE - illegal for SURE 
Was given a free sample on the street and persuaded by a lovely lady outside the store to come in and try some products. So far so good. 
Didn’t check the sample at the time, but after leaving the shop saw it was a completely different brand and product, cheap as chips full of parabens and toxic chemicals (I know this as I have a background in science). 
So, first is the pushy and aggressive sales tactics. Lady is bombarding us with information, all of which is without substance when questioned. I use organic and cruelty free products and she lied about the products being natural and lied about the products being allergen safe - I looked at the ingredients and found parrafin, BHT and other worrying chemicals. I pointed these out and they were glossed over and not addressed. 
She clearly had a sales script; we moved swiftly from nails, to washing hands, to trying about 4 different products extremely quickly and without checking with us if it was ok - before we said yes it was smeared on our hands. It was too much and violated our personal space. 
As if this wasn’t bad enough, enter the supposed ‘owner’ dressed in a blue raincoat (?!?!) to give us his sales pitch. Help. 
It started with excessive flattery, at the same breakneck speed as the lady. He reduced his prices almost instantly by more than half which screamed bad quality and desperate sale. He tried to bamboozle us with words but when questioned about the skin peel and it’s supposed ‘enzyme's’ he simply jokingly said ‘I can give you the name of Dr Bush’. Not knowing your products as the OWNER is a huge no no! 
Then clearly annoyed at the questions, he decided to tell my mother (who has amazing skin) she has bags under her eyes and she ‘needs’ eye cream. Then when she asked what was in it he said she probably couldn’t afford it anyway! Needless to say we were shocked and departed promptly!!
The worst shopping experience EVER! Can’t imagine buying their products (although it would appear from reviews you don’t even get the ‘real’ products anyway)!!!!! 
Steer clear, don’t waste your time, money or energy! And certainly avoid if you don’t want to get insulted!!!!

Nice shop
