SaltWire Paper "The Cape Breton Post" Litters

This company, some parts of which are owned by PNI Atlantic News since 2024, has been sporadically littering my property weekly, every Wednesday since 2020. I have repeatedly complained to them about littering my property with their bagged fliers. For a full year, I was actually spared, but they have resumed littering this spring. In between, I would get some relief, but then they would start again. I am tired of their litter being delivered, and blowing in from the neighboring properties.

In my area (Port Hastings, NS), it is the Cape Breton Post, which is responsible for printing and has a contract with some company to distribute this junky litter.

I am considering getting my HD camcorder out and ready for next Wednesday and film their local distributor in flagrant violation of the provincial litter laws of Nova Scotia.

Today, at 17:25, it was someone in a red Mitsubishi SUV that threw that litter in my lower driveway. I will again call the Cape Breton Post tomorrow to once again tell them to cease and permanently desist. If not, I plan to go the Port Hawkesbury RCMP Detachment and file an official complaint, requesting investigation and prosecution under the applicable provincial law prohibiting littering.
