1/5 STARS - A CUMBERSOME USER EXPERIENCE (AVOID PURCHASE)
The user rating of 1.2 on Trustpilot is justified.
My recent limited use of this device (Samsung Galaxy A33 5G) provided an overwhelmingly negative experience. The device exhibits poor performance, consistent software delays, and an excessive amount of pre-installed, unnecessary applications (bloatware).
PERFORMANCE DEFICIENCIES
Exynos 1280 (The Performance Bottleneck): The processor is fundamentally inadequate for handling the demanding resources of the proprietary One UI system. This results in constant micro-stutters and freezes during routine operations, such as scrolling through menus or switching between applications. The performance profile is comparable to a device several generations older.
One UI (Resource-Heavy Interface): Samsung imposes a complex, overloaded, and proprietary operating system layer. It is saturated with redundant applications (e.g., separate Samsung Store, Samsung Browser, Samsung Keyboard) that consume system resources and drastically reduce device responsiveness. The settings menu architecture is poorly organized, convoluted, and appears functionally outdated.
BUILD QUALITY AND DESIGN
The overall construction is predominantly plastic, failing to convey any sense of premium quality. The physical design and material choice suggest cost-cutting measures, positioning the device below the expected standard for its market segment.
Conclusion: Users accustomed to a clean, fast, and highly optimized software environment (such as Google Pixel) are strongly advised to avoid the Samsung A-series and the One UI interface. This purchase represents a poor value proposition and a significantly compromised user experience. Samsung should prioritize system optimization over feature proliferation.

I had 30 days left on my one year…

I had 30 days left on my one year manufactures warranty. My Flip 6 stopped responding to screen touches. After fighting with ATT, then Samsung I finally got someone who knew their job. So I sent my phone to Dallas Texas for repair. They said I broke my phone. If I want it back no problem, but to fix the phone 278 dollars. I never dropped my, I take super care of my phone, I have never had a problem with any phone in my life. So my first Samsung, the Flip 6, has become a costly mistake. So, I wrote to the CEO of Samsung USA. They assigned some to look into my situation. The repair place emailed them a picture of a phone with a shattered screen. They said that was my phone. I have a flip phone, it was the wrong glass, that was not my phone. So, I no longer have any Samsung products, I will never again own any of there products. I am now a one man hate campaign against Samsung. I was with my wife at an ATT store, I talked 7 people into buying Apple over Samsung. I know it is not much. But I will get more.

Two weeks, no TV, no refund – Samsung.nl is a scam operation in disguise.
Ordered a TV from Samsung.nl with delivery and installation included. The delivery team arrived, discovered a crucial mounting piece was missing, and took everything back, promising a replacement. We were told to contact customer service.

We called the same day, got a ticket number, and were told to wait for an email with the next steps. Two weeks later: silence. No TV, no refund, no communication. Samsung is holding our money and leaving us completely in the dark.

Looking at other reviews here, this isn’t an isolated case – it’s a pattern. Samsung.nl treats customers with total disregard. Shocking from a brand of this size.

No phone or headphones for a month, no money

No phone or headphones for a month. They sent me headphones without a phone at first. Why do I need headphones without a phone?!!! As it turned out, the phone is out of stock and it is unknown when it will be available. Since I can't wait more than a month, I returned the headphones in agreement with the manager. Three days later, I received a message that the phone had been delivered. I went to pick up the phone, but it wasn't there. The package was missing. I started writing to ask where the package was, but they completely ignored me. In the end, I got neither the product nor my money back.
Thank you, Samsung, for ruining my mom's birthday. I wish I had chosen Apple instead!!

Stay away from Samsung

I bought a Samsung refrigerator with a 2 +3 years warranty, energy class A+++. A few months before the expiration of the warranty ,the refrigerator started collecting water in the fridge compartment. After 3 visits of the repair service, they decided that the problem cannot be fixed. They said that they will speak with Samsung and offer a solution.
Some days later the repair service send me an email that Samsung will replace my refrigerator since it is still on warranty and they told me to call Samsung to arrange the delivery. Samsung said that they will contact me when they are ready.
Next day I received an email from Samsung that they can offer me an exchange, giving me a refrigerator of energy class D, for which I had to pay additionally 500 euros, because the original warranty was 2 years.Fr the +3 years waranty, I had to find a solution with the retailer, which in the meantime was bankrupted.
I explained that I am willing to pay an additional cost, but I expect them to give a good offer for a refrigerator with similar specs like mine, which needs to be replaces in less than 5 years. After 2 weeks of negotiations, Samsung offered me a model that they sell in their website and at the moment they give a TurboJet vacuum as a gift. I can now take this one, without the gift, 50 euros cheaper! What an offer!
I considered Samsung a trustworthy and customer - oriented company. After this unprofessional and unethical response, I will never spend a euro to buy their products and I will inform as many people as possible about how unreliable thy are.
The market is big, choose a more serious brand!

Samsung Electronics doesn't handle cheaper phone models error reports

Samsung Electronics is not handling cheaper Samsung phones their error reports which were send via Samsung Members app. Error reports for Galaxy A33 stay unanswered for months, while error reports for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra get pretty fast an answer within 3 days. Email CEO function via Samsung website used, Samsung employees don't feel the need to take reported issues seriously.

I hate there company I ordered a lease phone and was emailed I was approved and will be sent the phone I received the phone 3 months into using it my moms phone broke so ai gave her mine and the 1 month samsung said I should return the phone! I told them I have been paying for the phone I cant just take the phone from my mom can pay for the phone they said no. Now I have to take the phone from my dying mom because they refuse I pay for the phone they just want there phone back! Stupid company needs to be closed. For the first time actually switched to Samsung from Iphone and now they make me regret everything thing.

Terrible customer service

I was trying to make a purchase, and there was a deal that I can give them any old mobile device despite their state of working and in return get a 40 euro discount on the new purchase. However, when I click it, it didn't work. I called the customer service, they said it's an error on the website, so they asked me to send screenshot via whatsapp and they will adjust it. I was waiting for days for a respond, then I would finally get 1 answer per day even I would respond to them right away, then again no answer for 1-2 days, then a new person asking the same questions. In the end I called customer service 3 times, I was trying to talk via whatsapp for 1.5 - 2 weeks, and the problem would not be resolved. Then the product got out of stock and the next delivery was possible in a month.... Then 3 days later, the product was available again. So I ordered again, got my product the next day, and I'm still waiting for the delivery of the same product that I ordered 2 weeks earlier to get it deliver and then return it. It's a mess...

Phone with a lot of planned obsolescence

In 2024, you just buy a gadget with planned obsolescence.
I bought a Samsung A54 in Rotterdam in 2024. Everything started to not working properly one app after the orhers. The GPS, the camera, the system was so slow, the keyboard is randomly stucked...
I moved to Thailand and did nothing with the phone. Suddenly, everything is working perfectly again.
The Samsung sale person in Bangkok explained me that in Western Europe, Mostly the Netherlands, Germany, France, a phone is supposed to last 15 months based on consumers analysis. So this is normal to change your phone every 15 months, not here in Thailand.
I add that i never dropped my phone, the screen is not cracked at all, and now it works perfectly again.

Very unprofessional customer service and delivery experience very bad.

I bought a washing machine and a dryer, at first they said the washing machine was not in stock, after several complaints at the delivery day the washing machine all of the sudden appeared with the delivery people, which they have ment do deliver only the drier machine, so after a lot of stress and communication this was mysteriously solved. But after this good news the delivery company used all the excuses to not place the appliances in their location as they needed to bring through the stairs, their reason they said it was not enough space to bring it up to the steirs, i did need to manage to arrange with another company and it was easy. They are not professional at all.
I did also request a refund of the placement i did pay extra and they rejected the refound, customer service is very bad.

Fold & Pre-order at the Galaxy Unpacked event

I watched the Galaxy Unpacked event and was so excited that I purchased a bundle with the Galaxy Fold 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and a silicone cover set that same night. I tried to use a $50 voucher (which I had bought for $10), but couldn’t apply it at checkout—likely because of heavy site traffic during the launch. When I called support the next day, they insisted the voucher worked and refused to help, even though it only started working afterward. I reached out four more times, but they wouldn’t acknowledge a possible site glitch and made it feel like I’d forgotten to use the voucher. There was no resolution, so I had to request a refund for my preorder. As a Samsung user since the Note 4, this entire experience has left me considering switching brands.

Let me start out by saying I love…

Let me start out by saying I love Samsung from my phone to my washing machine and everything in between are Samsung.
But in the last few weeks I ordered 2 TVs. direct from Samsung. Neither lived up to the description of image quality.
I sent them back. But in one case I had to wait 5 days to start the return .till the order " completed" in the system and two more days to pickup. That is half the time allowed to complete the return. Apparently this high tech company uses victorian steam accounting.
But eventually all was settled and money refunded.
I decided I needed to see a working TV and up my budget. I went to view and bought a QLED from coolblue my go to for electronics
However. later that day I received on my phone offers from Samsung and Mediamakt. For the identical TV the exact same model year and price 999 euro
But with one big difference. My Purchase came with the standard 2 year factory guarantee
At Mediamakt and Samsung a 5 year factory guarantee was offered.
Why is my tv not guaranteed for 5 years a company should not offer two completely different manufacturers guarantees on their products. The same items should carry the same guarantee in one country.
Samsung basically said bad luck.
I am sure this is bad practice to that end total end I have complained to the ACM VIA the ConsuWijzer .Asking them to investigate this unequal treatment of consumers. Once again I stress this is not an extra guarantee againt accidentally damaging it etc you usually buy.
But the basic out of the box factory guarantee. And this unequal treatment is entirely the decision of Samsung.nl
Makes me doubt my brand loyalty

Samsung earbuds

I loved the earbuds (the first one) Its good quality but it broke so I bought the Samsung earbuds3 pro.. I got it BROKEN with me and they found nothing bad, i get deaf bc of a beep if I touch it, the windshield doesn't work and the sound is bad.. the worst is that im NOT allowed to get my money back, it said 14 days so I did that but I cant send it back and get my money so I tried to repair it but they found nothing and I got it dirty back..

Terrible after sales service

I will never repeat getting anything from this company, i do have a broken TV right after 3 days of the 2 years warrenty:( and submitted the reparation request online then i received an invoice from a reparation center to be paid even before they check it.

Called Samsung back and they said they can't do anything even worse that I'm not entitled to any discounts on fixing the TV because its not a benelux device HOWEVER i bought it here in the Netherlands brand new one, why should I care about where the TV was manufactured as long as I'm buying it here in NL.
Terrible customer service and no way of trying to maintain a customer with them.

Samung customers value and suppoert is zero after buy

Samung Nederland does not respect therir customers. All they want more miney. Service is sub zero. Wheb you buy u will feel like a king. However, when thinks goes wrong you find out that Samung has zero service and sub zero customers support and value, the ytreat you like s..t. Just trying to sell you more thing which you already have istead of fixing thier bad products.
For my Samsung nederland is finished.
Buy and give your money to companies which respect you before and after buying, they are a lot,pick any except Samung.

Monitor repair process

I sent my monitor for repair on 22-02-2025 then CE repair company sent me an email on 12-03-2025 that it is not repairable and i need to seek further assistance from samsung. I called samsung and informed them by myself about the situation, there is no automation about this... they said that they were going to make a refund in 2 weeks. I cannot even track the status of my refund on the website or they have not sent me an email about it either... So stil waiting hoping that they would refund it soon... I will never buy something from samsung's website again due to this awful repair experience.

Dears,
I have been using Samsung smartphones for years. As an Architect, I was excited about the Z Fold series, and it has been very useful. I have had the Z Fold 4 for nearly two years, but a few months ago, issues started to appear. The left side of the screen became unresponsive to the S Pen when unfolded.

Two days ago, the phone crashed on its own and now only functions when unfolded and connected to a power cable, but it remains disconnected from the network provider. The WiFi is also not working, though occasionally, by slightly bending the screen, it reconnects. This suggests to me that the issue might be due to a poor-quality internal connection cable.

After checking reviews for possible solutions, I discovered that this problem is becoming common among users, with many advising against purchasing the Z Fold 6. This is deeply disappointing from Samsung. I hope you can provide some solutions or clarifications.
