Made order for items online. Stock staus advised in stock. Paid and waited. Got a phone call advising 1 item was not in stock but would arrive in 2 weeks. Waited 2 weeks, another update advising would be longer still. Kept getting on to them for an update and they advise the rep updated the item would be "early November". 19th November comes and still no update and no dispatch. I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. They replied to say they would refund. No apology. The delay is frustrating but entirely acceptable. The misleading lies they kept communicating is not acceptable and says a lot about the actual people behind the business. They didn't care enough to take responsibility for the delay and left me chasing them for inaccurate updates. Either have an accurate stock status function or don't have a stock status function. What's difficult about that. If you screw up, own it, I will always respect that. I can't stand these "hobby" businesses. There are real people behind your customers, treat them with respect. Food for thought S&A.
Found a wallpaper in a local supplier, checked it against S&A supplies price, much much cheaper. Ordered item, forgot to put email (not a compulsory box but should be). S&A rang next morning to confirm order. Delivered direct from manufacturer next day. Excellent service. Excellent price.
Site could do with improvement, but easy enough to navigate. Good search tools. Well priced, especially if you are looking for a particular wallpaper.
If things go wrong then the phone lines and email seem to take a long time to get a response. They forgot to send out my delivery, but once I contacted them they had it with me within two days.
