READ AND CORROB. BEFORE BASELESS FLAGGING AND DISMISSAL, Although free to do so post warning! The manager at Otay Crossing Self Storage BAITED a North County SAN DIEGAN in with a discounted reserved (by phone) company website confirmed offer, then SWITCHED the deal on the local disabled US Navy veteran to a much smaller unit after he already hauled his property in a 20' Uhaul Box truck. She promised to pro-rate the difference as soon as her maintenance man fixes allegedly broken rollup door of desired unit and contents moved over, vacating smaller unit.
She not only failed to address the original deal, but raised the price of the same sized unit substantially, stating "this is a different one, that one is no longer available". Naturally the disappointed tenant did not affirm the Not-Clever classic bait-n-switch move, voicing his concern about the incredible inconvenience she was causing him without a valid reason.
She then HARSHLY RETALIATED against a citizen who did nothing but request his rightful deal displayed on the company's website (revenged because he told the manager who called him few days later).
After tenant complained to the gentleman who randomly called the wronged tenant for quality assurance, and very nicely tried to help even though the tenant sounded very unhappy and didnt want to continue talking after venting off for a few minutes. David's politeness was affective, so again David called a few days after to inform the Tenant to be on the lookout for an incoming great news about the original deal very soon.
David kept his promise and called the 3rd time; he offered original deal.
Although high gas prices did not help reduce his COVID-19 related hardships amid a rise in inflation, he still made required work-related arrangements and made it down there in his high consumption pickup truck, One and Quarter hours prior to office closing, and a day or two after the call.. BUT the representative presented him with the higher lease price even though David assured the Tenant that the deal is solid after the claimant requested a double check confirmation when presented with David's offer.
After about 15 minutes wait time, The rep stated that the Manager says No this is the price.
The tenant requested for the third time that the offer should be confirmed by the manager who made and confirmed the offer, David; but Jose expressed that he could not get a hold of him right now.
THE MANAGER surprisingly NOT ONLY DID NOT APPROVE DAVID'S DEAL TO THE TENANT that day, even though the tenant verbally authenticated David's offer on the speakerphone next to a highly credible medical professional as a physically available witness, but shockingly she started ACCUSING THE RIGHTEOUS CLAIMANT OF HOSTILITY over the phone (due to his frustration and precious but wasted time money and resources); instead of delivering the contract's promises that were made on the website and by a manager (David).
It is highly crucial to note that She not only did not try to improve the damages already made, but gave the heat-exhausted physically-mentally-financially-drained 50 yr old ex Navy Petty Officer 10 DAYS TERMINATION NOTICE WITHOUT A CAUSE; blatantly crushing the tenant's rights by overwriting DAVID'S witnessed promise. instead of trying to legally comply with CALIFORNIA S.O.S. CODE by going through the legal procedures to escalate or deescalate the situation that she herself had started, she took it upon her self to deal with the matter off the books, unlawfully and illegally (not using the legal system in place).
***This is ALL DOCUMENTED. Financial + other Damages have sadly been unjustly incurred and irreversible, while the hardship continues as we speak in real time on this 29th day of July 2022.
The intimidation to short his tenancy rights by 20 days (less than 30 days notice) have been made and are on his voicemail rightnow,
Be very careful! This supervisor commented "I AM DAVID'S BOSS. I DON'T NEED A REASON TO TERMINATE YOUR TENANCY AND IF YOU CREATE ANY DRAMA WE WILL LOCK YOUR THINGS AWAY AND PLACE A JUDGEMENT AGAINST YOU". This quote is Almost 100% verbatim and can be corroborated upon official request!
-Respectfully, (Name available upon Trustpilot or official legal request).
