Misleading Customer Service

I did not stay at this hotel because I requested to cancel my booking before check-in. The hotel manager advised me not to check in and assured me that my cancellation request would be reviewed on Monday. However, the request was later rejected. I relied on the information I was given and was disappointed by the way my request was handled. I expected honest and transparent communication. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend booking this hotel.
