Booked this venue a year in advance
Booked this venue a year in advance, we were promised to have an Empty car park in a busy industrial estate, I clearly asked before putting a deposit down if the car park would be empty and that they would be no lorries driving around and reversing, they said that it's always empty as the other companies in the estate don't work weekends. I went back after a few weeks just to make sure, and Guess what? The car park is constantly busy, lorries in and out, No place to park etc...
Very dangerous when you have kids running around during a wedding + it doesn't look nice to have a lorry parked right outside the entrance.
The venue may suit someone having a small event or a wedding on a small budget. Poor customer service. The owner of the business (Trading under Safiya Ltd) hides behind 'his team ' who is just one man, himself.
He will promise you things which doesn't live up to expectations.
I've taken this company to court and currently in the process of recovering my money. I would be very carefully before putting a deposit down for this venue. He will often try to get cash to ensure that there's no coming back. Ensure that you pay by card or make a bank transfer and get a receipt!
