Zero communication or follow‑up – avoid; look elsewhere
I contacted Smoke Alarm Safety Services (SASS) on 18 March to arrange a compliance inspection using their ServiceM8 link. As of 2 April, I’ve had absolutely no response. No email, no call, and no attempt to confirm a booking.
For a company responsible for safety compliance, this level of silence and disorganisation is unacceptable. If a simple scheduling request can’t get a reply in over two weeks, it doesn’t inspire confidence in their professionalism or reliability.
Based on my experience, I’d recommend avoiding using SASS. Use Detector Inspector instead — far more responsive and organised.
