Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the website, describing it as difficult to navigate and poorly designed, especially after a recent update. Customers also reported significant issues with payments, including billing discrepancies, difficulty withdrawing funds, and problems with renewal payments being rejected or processed incorrectly. The service was frequently criticized for being unhelpful and unresponsive, particularly when dealing with critical issues like domain transfers or account access. Some people were dissatisfied with their orders, experiencing problems such as domains being mistakenly deleted, lost, or not renewed despite payment. BAD BAD BAD

"This company is completely untrustworthy. They duplicate existing websites and mislead clients.

Our website was recently copied by them, and they are passing it off as their own work to deceive other customers. They provide no originality or quality, simply taking credit for work that isn't theirs and using it to attract new clients.

This company is clearly just in it to make a quick profit, with no regard for honesty or professionalism. I would strongly advise avoiding them if you want a unique and reliable website!"

Very bad company

Very bad company, a fake website is trying to impersonate us with a domain that looks like our domain. We have emailed sav.com several times and sent reports to take down the fake domain hosted by them offline. They don't take the problem seriously, so we're going to approach it differently.

NB; Don't do business with these scammers, luckily we don't do that and have already suffered from this scandalous company. You should check if you will be a customer of this!

Friendly service but many frustrating issues

UPDATE 2: Down to 2 stars now. The bugs just keep coming and coming with this new system. I can’t even list a domain for sale ATM, despite wasting an hour or more with support. Lots of other bugs too, much of it basic stuff which should come up in usability testing before anything goes live. Honestly, I can’t recommend Sav at the moment, and I may need to find another provider if they can’t get these things fixed soon.

UPDATE 1: I've lowered my rating of Sav from 5 to 3 stars, just because I've had so many problems with their domain management system recently. Firstly, there are quite a few UX issues that I reported to them months ago, but they have failed to address these (including the login issue I mentioned before). I frequently have to revert to their 'legacy' system to get things done. Secondly, it seems they recently updated their system, and the whole thing just feels buggy. Their support team is just as friendly and responsive as ever, but it's still so frustrating to have basic things fail, like renewing a domain or doing a domain transfer. If and when they get these issues resolved, I may revert back to 5 stars.

Original review:

When I saw that Sav only had a 3 star average (shown on their own site), I couldn't believe it, so I clicked the link. Now I see why—a whole lot of 1 star reviews from operators shut down for 'domain abuse'. Well I don't know about you, but that only adds to my respect for this company.

As for me, my experience with Sav and their support team has been excellent. I have had some issues with their new login screen but reverting to the old one fixes those things. When I have had questions or issues, Sav support has always responded incredibly fast (often within minutes) and it's always from a real person who actually reads and responds to what I wrote. (Increasingly rare these days!)

SAV.COM will sell your domain and you will lose your site

SAV.COM will sell your domain and you will lose your site. They block the accounts of their clients under any pretext to auction them in the future. Naturally, site owners are willing to pay any amount at the auction to buy back their business. but they (sav.com) run an AUTO BIDDER at the auction to abuse and steal the domain, and then bargain with the real owners (Ideal scheme to earn money)
I would caution everyone to keep their domains from SAV.COM.
SAV.COM is not a domain registrar is just an auction where they will put your domain for sale. They don't care about your business.

A pathetic domain registrar with zero customer support.

It’s been three weeks since the ticket was opened. ZERO PROGRESS in resolving the issues with their account panel. The account panel is full of bugs and the 24/7 customer support is unable to help. They have to get higher tier support involved who take three to five business days to respond. So all your work will go on hold because they have left the customers on their own to discover these issues in the control panel and then put their work on hold while the support staff takes days to resolve these issues. Every time I have enquired I get the same cut and paste reply from the support team on the chat that they are doing their best to resolve the issue. If this is their best don’t know what standard of service they have. Extremely poor service.

Bad experience with them

Bad experience with them, we had a problem with our .cloud domain, asked for help 22 days ago and no update until today. Their staff Meggy, Ryan, Andy, Vito, Scott, and Rudy only replied to our messages with just an apology without any real action. We lost money and time, very disappointing.

Recommended to buy domain names with Sav.com

I've used Sav for a few years to purchase 3 different domain names. Sav is the cheapest I found for domain purchases. The process is quick and easy and the user interface is straightforward, and they don't bombard you with fancy graphics asking you to upgrade or stress you with a false sense of urgency and buy the domain names you searched for then re-sell at an inflated price which Godaddy is known for apparently doing. They do remind you when you need to renew your domain name and the renewal prices are also cheaper than what I found elsewhere, saving between $1-$2 for 1-2 year renewals (eg $7.95 for the first year and $9.60 for the second year). And actually they used to be $9.95 for the first year and they dropped their prices this January which is great. When I had issues with logging in, they had staff reply to my email within minutes to sort it out.

One thing though: I recently discovered you can also create a website on Sav, but they don't tell or show you the website prices until you create a website (using a pre-made template) and go to publish it. The publish button is prominently displayed and coloured and might mislead some people into thinking it is free to publish - only after you publish do you see a price list starting at $2.49 (USD) a month. The downside is you can't (at the moment) delete websites you've made in Sav and you can't upload your own website, you have to use their templates, but the upside is apparently they have unlimited storage even for the lowest priced tier and they have Stripe.

As far as domain purchases go, I would definitely recommend using Sav to buy all your domains. For hosting, you should go elsewhere if you need a website that is beyond a static template.

Support is very slow

I have two open support tickets. The first one is a domain auction win, but domain wasn't dropped and sav.com still hasn't refund 995$ auction payment. They got stuck in solving another problem for two month now. There was a domain auction, the domain was locked by registry before auction and Sav.com should not sell locked domains at auction. Sav.com hasn't refund 115$ payment yet. The only support answer is "We would like to inform you that this case has been escalated" and nothing else. Their support is so bad.

sav.com is not a safe registrar

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this organization. My domain has been locked in a clientTransferProhibited status for several days without any warning or timeline for a resolution. The support team has been unable to provide any concrete answers, repeatedly stating that their developers are "actively working" on the issue, but no concrete action has been taken.

Despite my numerous inquiries, I have only received vague answers with no real information on when the issue will be resolved. This lack of communication and transparency has caused a lot of frustration. To make matters worse, many of the answers I have received have felt like generic, copy-pasted responses, which has only added to my frustration.

I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this organization, especially if you are looking for reliability and fast service.

They don't even have an email. Help to close an account is done through the chat boot and then the "agent" turns on and make it difficult to close an account. They pretend they didn't get their weird form that I sent twice. The interface itself is unclear and difficult to use. They are far from other companies in the industry

180+ domain addresses of our company

180+ domain addresses belonging to our company and given for common use were suspended without mail and information, and in this process, they caused us losses.

Although we repeatedly told them that we are a web traffic filtering organization and that we use it to provide one-click filtering service

They deactivated our account, you should be very careful when working with the company and I would like to point out that they return very late, our problem is still ongoing and we are still dealing with it.
