Thank you for your review and feedback! Unfortunately, we have noticed an uptick in shipping prices over the last couple of years from all of the major carriers. We do add a small handling fee per shipment to cover our 100% recyclable packing material costs, but the rates are otherwise fed directly from Federal Express and USPS. We also offer free shipping for non-bulk orders with a sub-total above $100 shipping domestically. If there is an opportunity to reduce shipping costs at any time in the future, we will most certainly take advantage and pass along any savings to our customers.

I love this site....but...
I order from her often for my business. I have one issue. The last few times I ordered rush shipment and paid for rush shipment I did not receive that service. This is an issue for me.

I looked into the most recent rush order to see where we went wrong, and it appears that it was delayed due to our closure for the recent holiday. We certainly should have done a better job of communicating any potential delays. I will go ahead and credit your account the rush processing fee that normally allows your orders to skip to the head of the production line in order to ship same day. I have always been treated well by Save On Scents. However, I ordered a very large supply so I haven't ordered in quite a while. When I ordered the Blue Nile, they sent a clear oil as opposed to the BLUE oil and I had to pay to ship it back for an exchange.

Thank you very much for your review! I am very sorry for any confusion regarding the coloring of Blue Nile. Several years ago we stopped coloring all oils and updated notes within the descriptions of the previously colored oils to reflect this fact. Should you want the old coloring that we previously offered we request that you ask for the colored version in the comments of the checkout process. We will then color the batch at no additional charge. Going forward, please feel free to make this request. This change was made to allow customers who have clear products to control the final coloring of their finished product.

Company Resolved (Warm Embrace no more! So devistating for me!)
**** New 4 star review...... I have received and used the fragrance, and finally the clear color stayed the same and so did the smell of it. it once again smells like my favorite fragrance of Warm Embrace. I hope the formula will stay the same with out any more mistakes in the future. I am buying 2 bottles today with the hope that they will be just as good.
Thank you save on sense for solving this. Although It is a bummer to have these other fragrances that I cannot use. the sweet scent in them is more than any one in this family can bear to smell. so I have 3 full bottles that will go in the garbage. I guess you feel I needed to report the problem allot sooner to get reimbursed, or have a bigger gesture for the bad experience, I did hope for a little more than just a one oz spritzer, for an 4 8 oz items I am unsatisfied with. I gave the 4 stars because I am gratefuI for the 1 oz spritzer to show you finally corrected the Fragrence, but I am still stuck with these unusable fragrances. I felt that a little bit more of a credit, reimbursement,or free product could have been achieved. But I will have to accept that you feel that too much time has passed for something like that to occur. I would have given five stars if there had been a more improved gesture.
Initial Complaint
I have bought a fragrance called Warm Embrace for years and the body spritzers up until my last two orders has been great. they smelled like the original warm embrace. and the liquid stayed clear in the bottle no matter how long I had it. the past two orders have not been the same fragrance. I wear it to have people know me by my fragrance, and I was always complimented on it and people loved being close to me because they loved it so much. since I received this imposter fragrance on my last two orders, every one who usually comment on my fragrance all asked me why I switch fragrances. They tell me that they miss my old smell. they say this one just smells sugary and not the smell of Jenn at all. I am very disappointed at the change and I wish they would pin point what they changed before my last two orders. I have asked them about it and the most they tell me is, maybe it was a fluke order, which was why I tried one more order. sadly the imposter fragrance is the same as the last imposter. The fluid changes from clear to a peach color after having it for a little bit. I'm am so sad because I identify myself by this fragrance. everyone around me calls it the smell of jenn. they all say they miss my old smell so much and are having a hard time liking the new sugary smell when the other one was more tropical or coco nutty with a slight musk, that was said to have brought a calming affect to people who were around me. this imposter just irritates and agitated people. I have stopped wearing it and almost all of my bottles will most likely go to waist. where will I ever find this fragrance again? victoria's secret discontinued it. and now save on scents can't remember how to create it any more. the only way they could get my business back is if they fix it and when they fix it and get the fragrance right, they send me a free sample body spritzer for me to try, to insure that it is the right fragrance, and the liquid will stay clear over long periods of time. I may get the oil because seems closer to the right scent but it still looses something with the length of time of having it. It's almost like the minute it's opened and air hits it something changes it. it also comes clear and changes to a peach color after time. it used to stay clear no matter how long I had it. I used to have large bottles that lasted and lasted because I used it at my tanning salon that I no longer have, as the aroma scent. I am just soooooo disappointed. there is really no true way to express it.

We are also passionate about fragrances, so I can completely understand how disappointing it would be if I felt that my signature fragrance was no longer available. I am sorry to say that I cannot find any history of a correspondence regarding this issue in our records. Our policy is to replace fragrances that longstanding customers have previously ordered and have communicated that a current batch appears to be off in smell. At a minimum, we request that a customer send back the oil for inspection, though most cases will just receive a replacement that our perfumer has verified to be correct. I see that this order is from back in June, so unfortunately I cannot look into the batch that your last order was poured from to determine whether there was a specific issue. I have reviewed our current batch of Warm Embrace |Type*| fragrance with our Perfumer and we will be shipping out a body splash tester to your most recent address. I hope to have you back to wearing your favorite fragrance and turning heads once again as soon as possible! I look forward to hearing back from you once you have had a chance to receive and test!

Thank you for your feedback! I am very happy to hear that you are getting the fragrances you need on time and they are as expected. I am also sorry to hear that one of your favorites was closed out. We hate closing out oils, and only really do so as a last resort when a few factors come together. Usually the price of a raw material will have shot way up, increasing the price we have to charge our customers drastically, and/or that material is fairly unique and is not included in any other formulas. Even then, we prefer to still offer that oil, but in a minimum ordering volume. This volume may be too high for some customers' needs, but others might find it worthwhile to purchase a higher volume of their favorite fragrance. That said, please reach out to us the next time you place an order. I can look into the material required to formulate that fragrance and see if we happen to have enough on hand to fill a small custom order of the size you are interested in.
