Decent products at a decent price - the new store in Watford is worth a visit. Sometimes there can be a bit of a queue to pay but you can’t expect to get a bargain without a little effort!

A new Savers store has just opened in Watford on the High Street (within the last month) and it has been very underrated so far.
Not many people do not of it. In fact, I did not really know about it till a few days ago when I walked by the shop. Overall it has not started off badly.
Its not that spacious for a 'store' which sells household items. It needs more space in theory. Albeit, they are selling all of their products they only have 2 or 3 cashiers which will be frustrating for them when they have customers. I went in and brought something which was not at a peak time and yet there were around 3 or 4 people lined up. They just need more cashiers in general. And maybe..... if they get granted more space they should also think about adding self-service (every big brand does have this).
Furthermore their deals are sublime. I would not be incline to mentioning this to a friend if they are getting a load of household items for their offspring to go to uni for e.g. but I would recommended it if they were wanting to pick up a few items. The reason why I say this is because they do not have the quality and depth to really compete with Tesco and Asda. That is the sole reason on why they are not been giving a five but a four.
So.... ways to improve for the new shop in town is simple. They really need to be granted more space for the business to kick off but right now I think they are up there with Pound land on their shop quality as a whole. Another way for them to improve is improve their quality and depth.

I tried to contact Saverstore as a product I bought needs repair under guarantee. Website and phone don't work and the parent company appears to be in liquidation - see companies house.gov website for company number 06083590.
DO NOT TRUST!!!!
Made a purchase just before xmas,item took a few weeks to arrive which can be slightly overlooked due to xmas period,though it wasn't dispatched until well in to the new year. When it did arrive though it was faulty. Saverstore emailed me several times requesting feedback,obviously I couldn't/wouldn't do that as I was still trying to get some life into my item,but it was completely dead and would not charge at all. I contacted saverstore several times by email for details of how to return the item as advised on their website. Despite this they failed to respond. Fortunately I had made my payment by paypal so I opened up a new query with them via paypal. Again they failed to make any response. After the waiting period I had no other choice but to escalate the case to a paypal claim. They did not respond to paypal either. So in the end paypal ruled the claim in my favour and gave me a refund. I was so glad I had used paypal for my payment to them as otherwise I could still be sitting here with a faulty item and being totally ignored by saverstore of my complaint whilst they kept my money. I would never use this store again,it is completely untrustworthy.
AVOID at all All Cost
Ordered my DDR4 RAMS from them which were listed as 32GB. I then received confirmation email, invoice and dispatch notes all confirming the RAM ordered being 32GB DDR4 RAM. I then after long deliver delays received only 16GB. Contacted Customer Services asking them to deliver the correct 32GB RAM but they refused doing so saying it was a listing error and all the pictures, description were simply human listing errors and the email confirmation, dispatch notices and sales VAT invoices are all computer generated errors.
They simply refused to exchange or re deliver incorrect 16GB RAM for 32GB RAM quoting its too expensive for them to do so and only thing they could offer me was a simple collection of 16GB RAM and issue me with refund once they received the item.
This was reported to Citizen's advice Bureau Consumer line and subsequently to Trading Standards and Retail Ombudsman. They then never responded to Retail Ombudsman and ignored attempts from Retail Ombudsman to contact them for resolution and I found out they weren't a part of any ADR scheme (Alternative Dispute Resolution) either.
Luckily I made my payment using PayPal and once I contacted PayPal they started their own resolution. They didn't even bothered to respond to PayPal either therefore case was decided in my favour and I was able to recover my money back.
Now their website is also down for days so not sure if they are still in business. But for those who still find their website working please read all the reviews about them and then decide carefully before placing any orders with them.
I wish there was any zero (0) stars but hope this would be help to others.

Avoid this company at all costs , I ordered a phone which was promptly delivered , however it was faulty , they arranged for it to be picked up, which again was done promptly. However all contact ends there , their telephone is never answered and is now dead and countless emails went unanswered. The website is now also down. Have they gone bust ? Complete con merchants.
Poor after-sales service
Ignore emails and telephone number is "sales only", another company who only care about getting your money and any problems they don't want to know, and activately avoid you.
EDIT: Website is down as well now so looks like I'm not getting the refund I'm owed.

Completely unimpressed with this website!!
Ordered all the parts to build a computer & the motherboard is faulty & it's impossible to return anything or even communicate with saverstore.com. The online return section doesn't work at all so can't move forward that way.
The only number I can find is the sales department & after trying all week nobody has even answered the phone. No voicemail either.
Have sent numerous queries through the website & haven't had a reply.
Out of options now, stuck with a faulty & out of pocket!
All I can to is to advise others not to even consider using them & to report them to trading standards!

Unrealistic delivery dates, poor communication
I ordered an Ergotron TV Mounting Arm on 10 December, and was disappointed to note the delivery date of 26 December as I checked out. I persevered and waited until 3 January having had no communication from Saverstore.com. I got a curt email advising me that it was delayed because of Christmas. Pretty lame! It finally arrived on 16th January. The product was excellent, but I will never use Saverstore again. Useless service selling items they don't have
Energy saving bulbs
Did not expect to get these as quickly as i did but they were here in a few days and well packed. Each time I have ordered something they have been speedy and efficient.
Lack of clarity
Item did arrive and was as specified. But I had no notification or tracking of the item for a week. Money had gone from my account but order was not displayed anywhere. When contacting savers store blamed PayPal. But when I spoke to PayPal they saI'd there was no issue. I don't mind if therequired is an issue I just don't like being lied to. Very poor customer sreviews overall. Kept getting talked over. And people seemed very disinterested with my issue.
