We found our website for America's Loan Company was tagged with a low score in the mid-fifties out of 100. However, we sent scam-detector.com verification showing our license to operate in Ohio, and they changed our score to 100 of 100. It only took three days to fix the issue.

Have used their resource previously to help evaluate potential risks from unrecognized sites. While looking up an unsolicited contact I realized I should also check my own site and sure enough it was red flagging because it's just a baby. Instructions on how to contact the team were clear and easy to find, and the requested external verifications all matters of public record. They updated and replied within 24 hours. I feel confident that other users will have the same experience.

However, after contacting them and providing them with required evidence they got back to me within a day after correcting my rating

Just beware the is an issue with co.nz domains where the Whois information is not auto detected.

If you have a domain where it comes up with no registration date but these details are in fact visible in Whois then contact them and provide a screen shot of this

If this number was obtained buy you from September 2025 to January 2026 it would be in your best interest to change it. This number is tainted for the next 50 years due to people losing their savings over this number.

If NOT, this number can result in you being implicated with serious negative results.

We have been running the online business for over 5 years via a globally trusted e-commerce platform. This website site needs to justify their algorithms used. Although it welcomed owner to challenge their score, as the owner, I feel like they are lurking for our business and personal information. Hence how do I know you Scam-detector.com is legit business for us to provide our confidential document? If you need to me to proof ourselves, you should first enquire the business registration department of the originating country plus with other sources before making your judgement which has no proof but making negative impact to our business! You are very irresponsible!

I can only hope people don't actually use this website to look up my own, they do a poor job as marking websites that are legit. I did a few searches for other websites and all are marked as scams when they are legit business'.

My own website doesn't even have the correct information so can only assume their AI half asses the job as they match info that doesn't even belong to my website, then they require you to provide a bunch of your own information to clear your name. This seems a little shady to me.....

It is interesting that the people leaving 5-star reviews are happy with how quickly this company took their data and "updated" their rating. Of course they did. Getting your data is what it is all about. When the product is free, YOU are the product. "Send us your name, your personal email address, your social media links, etc." Now they are in their database and can be sold.
