AVOID SCANIA PRESTON LIFE-THREATENING NEGLIGENCE

LIFE-THREATENING NEGLIGENCE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
What should have been a simple caliper fix turned into a disaster. Scania Preston’s recovery team towed my vehicle with seized brakes, leaving the wheels glowing red-hot—it took four buckets of water to prevent a full-blown fire. Now, Scania, their sub-contracted recovery firm, and a clearly incompetent surveyor are all playing 'pass the parcel' with responsibility. They are happy to take your money but will leave you with a burnt-out wreck and zero accountability. Save your business, your money, and your life—go anywhere else but here

Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Fake EUR.1 Document and No Support from Scania

We purchased two Scania trucks worth €138,000 through Bass World, and received a fraudulent EUR.1 certificate with the documents. After an investigation by Montenegrin Customs, in cooperation with Dutch Customs, it was officially confirmed that the EUR.1 document was forged and invalid.

As a result, our company M Trans from Montenegro was forced to pay over €10,000 in penalties, despite having done nothing wrong. The falsified document was provided to us by the seller as part of the official paperwork, bearing Scania branding.

We reached out to both Scania and Bass World multiple times over the course of more than three months — and received almost no response. The only message we got was that “Scania has closed the case,” with no explanation, no accountability, and no assistance.

We feel deceived and completely abandoned by both companies. This is not how a reputable brand should treat its customers — especially after a high-value transaction.

We have now initiated legal action for fraud and will never purchase anything through Bass World or the Scania network again.

We are sharing our experience publicly so others are warned — what we received was not only unprofessional, but unacceptable.

Keltruck Scam and approved by Scania

New scam by Keltruck and approved by Scania. Beware, if you call Scania Assistance and ask for a quote, they will invoice you £140 only for providing the price, without doing anything. Not to mention about astronomical prices.

Beware Scania’s NOT “Retail Ready”

Beware Scania’s NOT “Retail Ready”

Been buying ex contract used Scania’s for over 25years but never again! The preparation, customer service and warranty now mean nothing. I paid well over double what I have paid in the past thinking I would enjoy the 12 months back up as opposed to the usual 3 month warranty but I was so wrong. The vehicle was 3 months overdue on delivery after many excuses, when I took delivery the seat runner was broken, rear shockers corroded and cab mountings shot and knocking! The dealer said because the “Scania Trained Technician “ didn’t report these faults, they DID NOT EXIST?? The used salesman that promised to look after me wouldn’t answer any calls to be told later didn’t work for Scania any more? So I complained to the highest level to be told faults aren’t covered under any warranty or pre existing faults under the “Scania retail ready preparation” Please be aware Scania is not what it used to be! This will be my last. Truck purchased from Gordon Middleton and claims dismissed by Mark Williams.

Been here twice, will have to tell my manager to deal with them as made to feel like I'm a problem for scania, when I'm here to get lorry fixed under warranty! And there it is, Big company poor attitude, same old. Shame on you scania British trade and standards would be getting involved if it was not my works lorry. Dishonest Giant Company.

Scania Group, Purfleet.
Scania is one of the biggest commercial vehicle manufacturer and repairs specialist.

The company is filthy rich and glorifies their success stories.

I’m the smallest person and truly try my best to be a decent human being at the same time I consider myself to be honest, my belief is honesty, the best policy.

My coach 🚌 RIG1413 was damaged whilst the vehicle was in Scania Purfleet, I didn’t see the damages at first because repairs was done to cover / camouflage it, as soon as I was able to the next day, I contacted their customer services and raised my concerns.

After a lengthy wait and many emails and telephone calls finally I received a response. The company refused to acknowledge customer services.

This is utterly disgusting behaviour.
