Customer experience was atrocious!
X5 items purchased.
Problems with x4 of them.

I was polite, professional, clear, reasonable and explained how I knew the issues all lay with the manufacturers so wasn’t blaming them as it was beyond their control.

Yet they were still intent on causing me inconvenience by insisting I return the items even though I shown them photos of the damaged items, meaning they would only be going in the trash once they received them back.

However, not for a refund, just an exchange and this was after they destroyed trust and confidence in Scarletrooms and the manufacturers as a return customer so no way was I going to accept a replacement, I would just take me business elsewhere.

Keeping the damaged items would have compensated sufficient in conjunction with a partial refund, yet after explaining this to them I understood & respected their policy provided they offer some sort of compensation for the inconvenience yet they refused any compensation of any kind and were very vague, ignorant, dismissive and unsympathetic in the complaint correspondence.

X2 items were identical, yet both had a different name, price and label yet the ingredients on the back were identical.

Everything about the actual products were identical after inspecting them thoroughly, yet when raising this with the complaints department in detail they accused me of being wrong by assuming the ingredients had different strengths, with no evidence to back it up.

One of the items was partially torn and another had some minor deformation and damage, however it impaired the function of the product and put the quality and longevity into question.

Then the returns policy was shocking as it was deceptive as it contradicted the UK consumer rights acts.
They stated faulty goods must be reported within 36 hours of receiving and must be returned within 14 days of receiving the item.

Yet the law states you get 14 days to report faulty goods and a further 14 days to return for a refund, which is extended to 30 days due to the dates of receipt from both parties not being included in the deadline. You also get further rights to return, which the company avoids informing their customers as their policies are largely void as they don’t conform to UK law!

the appliance they sent me did not work…

the appliance they sent me did not work from the onset even after trying diffrent batteries suggest they test there chenese imports before forwarding to cutomers

Super Fast - in every sense
