Excellent Soup Maker

The Scott Simplissimo Soup Maker popped up onto my timeline, when I was looking for soup makers. It looked to do what IO wanted, and the price was good (on offer).

I received the machine today, and after unboxing, set about making some soup. I tried both Tomato and Leek and Potato Soups. Both were made in about 20 minutes and came out tasting wholesome and fresh.

The texture was smooth, which surprised me, because the machine was pretty quiet whilst making the soup, so I expected it to be coarse, but it was a lovely smooth puree.

Next I’ll try making chunky soup, but I have 6 bowls of soup to get through before I make another batch.

So, from my first impressions, the maker seems sturdy, well built, quiet in operation and produces excellent results. If you can get it at the right price (around £80), it is far better than the competition.

My only negative comment is that the jug, when filled with soup, is quite heavy, but it is glass, not plastic (which scratches and becomes opaque).
