Needed something over my console table that didn't look cheap. The Anka arrived well-packed, installed in maybe 20 minutes. That layered glass diffuser glows beautifully when dimmed. Guests always comment on it now.

My name is Seth and I am a supplier quality engineer for Caterpillar in Illinois. Recently, I bought two Sparkos, a green one and a black one, on the morning of that first day I clipped the green one to the bottom cuff of an old pair of cargo shorts. A few hours later, it was gone, my wife, daughter, and I spent the rest of the day searching for it with no luck. At that point I was very disappointed, because I had been excited to get them and losing one on day one was not a good feeling.

The next morning, I found it in the road at my daughters bus stop.

It had been out there all night through heavy rain, face down on the concrete, and had been ran over multiple times. The surprising part was that it still worked perfectly, in fact the unit was still fully charged and completely water tight. However, the housing was damaged enough that I no longer trusted the battery safety, but the fact that the light still functioned perfectly after that kind of abuse honestly says a lot about how well it is built. Before I ordered I was skeptical about the pricing and thought it was a little high, but after seeing it survive this level of trauma, it makes sense now.

I contacted Scoutlite and explained everything. Before they even reached out, I saw an email notification of a shipment in the way, I checked and saw a new green Sparko and the magnetic stand add-on were on their way, shipping covered, free of charge. They did not argue with me, dodge the issue, or hide behind policy language. They then followed up in a response email to my request, took the time to explain what likely caused it, gave practical advice on the best way to wear it to prevent future issues.

A company really shows its character when something goes wrong, and even more so through customer service. Their product proved tougher than I expected, and their customer care was even better, this is the type of company that America was built upon, and this is the type of company I choose to support, and I believe you should too. Support the type of businesses you want to see and vote with your dollar.

Great product! Fantastic quality. Easy to use-love the magnetic clasp and it’s super bright when needed.

I find the clicking, double clicking, long hold button to be too confusing and complex. The first time I tried to use it at work, it got stuck on flashing red and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to stop. I followed the instructions thoroughly and still couldn’t get it to stop. Finally, I pulled up a YouTube on it, and got it back to white light but I’m not sure how I managed it and have a fear I will do it again and be stuck with flashing red again. It needs to be less complicated imho.

This light is really great! It’s bright but not too bright as to affect my patients while sleeping. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that the red light turns on first.

Nice light that has many features to learn

This thing is a design marvel and very intuitive to use. Drains somewhat quickly when using at maximum brightness but that's probably to be expected given its size. And the warm light feature is an amazing bonus. My only criticism is that some of my own USB-C cables don't fit into the SparkO's USB-C port because of how deep the port is tucked beneath the little rubber cover, the USB-C cable's tip needs to have a specific shape.

Very lacking in instructions and clicks, number of clicks, length of clicks, etc. to operate the light. Still don't get it. Too frustrating. Email support is not helpful.

Excellent light source for most everyday needs, love the versatility…quick delivery and worth every dollar spent.

The product came in perfect condition, and the packaging was also very premium, for a premium product! The light is super useful and very bright. I am surprised of how small it is yet it does so much! Definitely will buy again for gifts!

Communication has been sparse at best, including replies to my questions or any kind of updates about project status.

This light is a great design and was constructed well. I have found it very useful several times while traveling with a toddler and needing light while he was sleeping.

By mistake i gave these people one star, but they and the product earn Smoke Effing, Effing, Effing Show....morte then 5 stars

A great little light that's very powerful.

Nice product bought through crowdfunding but end cost including shipping was very disappointing. Would not have bought it if all costs were known.
