It was 1981, Margaret Thatcher has been in power for two excruciatingly long years already, Charles and Diana have just announced their engagement, Bucks Fizz have won the Eurovision Song contest and Scribbler has just been born! But unlike Thatcher’s reign, Charles and Diana’s marriage and the UK’s run in Eurovision, Scribbler thrived into what can only be described as a ‘well good shop’ (thanks @cheeselover92) and now has stores across the country and a brand spanking new website. Whether you’re looking for something outrageously rude (The Daily Mail hate us!), ridiculously funny, or sickeningly sweet, we've got you covered. We work with the quirkiest, most outlandish and anarchic range of designers to bring the best and …ahem, boldest products to you. Get ready to get it wrong... Scribbler level wrong.

Do not go to this shop unless tou want to be locked in the store
Christmas cards ordered early on 17th did not arrive in time for Christmas, 7 working days is not enough apparently. The website also lied as the cards were expected on the 21-22nd.
No obvious returns policy on their website.
Very poor service, do not waste your time and money.
Ordered Christmas cards, they didn't arrive within the delivery window, chased them up the next day as was concerned they wouldn't arrive in time and was old to hang on until the end of the day. Still nothing, so asked for guarantee that replacement cards would arrive before Christmas.
Was told they were dispatched, still not turned up and nobody responding to emails now.
Card ordered Tuesday morning and dispatched that afternoon. Still not arrived today( Saturday). Another order from Thortful arrived within 2 days. Avoid.
Wouldn't buy my cards anywhere else! Great products in store and when I order cards online they always arrive next day - brilliant!
Do not use this company. No only are the delivery charges are a rip off, but if you pay extra for next day delivery, they do not send your whole order out on next day. Appalling to over charge and under deliver. There are plenty of competitors who provide a vastly superior service. I will not be using them again.
Utter utter utter Rubbish. Don't use them. The site is impossible to navigate, the whole experience of ordering a card should be good and fulfilling. These people rip the experience out of you. Stick to the rental outlets.
Utter Muppets.
Sent a card with fast delivery the week prior to Father's Day. The card never showed up and my Dad thought I'd missed Father's Day until I called him up to explain that I'd used Scribbler who are apparently terrible.
Don't trust them to deliver cards to your loved ones.
Went to Scribbler in Birmingham Bull Ring.Very welcoming place with a good selection of cards.Girl who served me was courteous & helpful.
I was let down by another online card retailer, so I gave Scribbler a try. I ordered four cards and they arrived within three days. Scribbler is now my preferred supplier of cards. Although their selection is not as wide as Thortful, they are more reliable. Thank you.
I ordered 2 Cards, I could not give them out as they had not arrived however it really is not Scribblers fault. The post office is not the best ATM due to Covid. I did let them know they had not arrived and I got a full refund straight away. Great customer service from Jason
I ordered a Valentine's card online on 9th February, dispatched the next day. It didn't turn up until the 16th so was useless. It was also damaged and bent and the envelope they gave me to put it in was filthy! Terrible customer service as well! It seems someone responds on their chat then closes it without resolving and when you respond it goes to someone else. It's taken 5 days to sort this out, really poor!
Excellent customer service - post office messed up delivery so refunded immediately, no questions asked - very responsive
Do not use Scribbler!!! This is my second order with Scribbler and on both occassions they have sent cards to late!
I ordered 4 cards, 2 got dispatched within 24 hours and the other two (valentines cards) I did not hear a word. After 5 days I emailed customer service to say i did not need the cards anymore as Valentines had already been and gone! Next day I was emailed a dispatch email. I still have not heard back from the customer service team AND there phone number is going straight to voicemail!! Avoid at all costs
God awful quality! My card looks like I’ve printed it myself on flimsy card. The image isn’t clear, it’s out of focus as though they’ve enlarged it too much and the envelope is one of those large A4 office envelopes! The card is smaller so it really does look like I’ve made this.
I’m preparing to apologise for the card tomorrow.
I have ordered twice from Scribbler; Feb 11th 2020 and Feb 10th 2021.
Today is the last post day before Valentines day and the cards have not yet arrived. None of the cards ever arrived last year either. I was promised dispatch by 2pm on the day of ordering, this did not happen, even if it did I am now wondering if they are ever "dispatched" at all.
Shame on me for giving the company another chance. While my most recent order may yet come, Scribbler should have given Royal Mail three clear days to get me my order sent 1st class. Instead they have had two but I fully expect the reason I have not received my order is due to Scribbler and not the postman.
I will wait to see if my most recent order does eventually arive after which date I shall be closing my account regardless & requesting a refund if appropriate.
Twice I trusted Scribbler to get me a card to give to my partner. Twice they have made me look rude and uncaring.
Go in store after lockdown, never order online.
I used to shop at Scribbler in the UK but since moving to the US - missed their stuff. Luckily they ship to the states, but also offer you to have cards sent directly to friends and family. It's been great in lockdown, to be able to order a card online and get it shipped directly. I think I've decided this is the way forward for me and I won't be going back to sending cards internationally (it's also better for the environment than me posting a physical card from over here!!)
The cards are great, lots of variety. The worst part about their site is the site itself. It's so slow and clunky sometimes, and prone to glitches. It's also frustrating that special characters aren't allowed in text. Especially for people with accents in their names. Surely in 2020 you can print special letters?! come on Scribbler.
But overall, really recommend them for great cards and ease of use! You can even order in advance and they'll ship it out on a date you choose.
Absolutely love this store and the staff! A go-to shop even if there aren’t any immediate celebrations as they have such an incredible range of cards, postcards and gift options. During lockdown being able to send someone a thoughtful card or ‘entertaining’ hello can make all the difference.
The store manager is more than happy to help and my colleagues at work wholeheartedly agree it’s the one store that will have the right kind of card! Even if it’s NSFW!
Popped into the Leeds store before lockdown. I received excellent customer service as always, and left happy with more cards than I went in for! Wouldn’t buy cards from anywhere else
