billing/subscription management needs to be easy

learning through scrimba is really good but the method in place to cancel subscription and change payment method , or I would say payment and billing is so hard to figure.
You will be on recurring bill for your subscription, but find info on cancelling on your subscription is made hard. and even if you find it, it is to email their help desk
once you log in , you need to click on profile picture>setting>billingInfo
there you will see "General Subscription management" as a plain text, it is hard to notice that it is a link also. So thats the only main complain I have with this.TIP to subscribers: know which card you using (use the card that you frequently check" otherwise its hard to know how many subscription you are in.
TIP to scrimba: Please make cancellation process easy, where you teaching to make awsome app, please include this too. Thank you.

Absolutely disappointed :(

If you want to learn how to code then Scrimba is not the platform for this. Boring outdated tutorials and projects that really do not prepare you for the labour market out there. Do not use their code editor as it is just buggy and most things simply do not work there. Their so-called Bootcamp is a bit of a scam since you are allowed to submit only 4 projects a month for a code review. I'm in the middle of the course and they keep smacking new solo projects into the course which is clever since if you wish all your projects to be reviewed well you'll be paying them forever. Also, their Discord is so noisy and hard to keep track of the conversations. If you do the 100DaysOfCode challenge and tag Scrimba on Twitter they never cheer you on unlike Treehouse so my suggestion is learn at Treehouse instead! I wanted to unsubscribe from the Scrimba course but it seems you can't do it yourself and need to send a request by email to them. Seriously, what year is this?

Truly amazed that this company doesn't have 100K+ excellent reviews already (I'm sure it will get there!). Scrimba's unique approach to teaching and affordable pricing makes becoming a skilled web developer achievable for just about anyone that is committed enough. I have just completed Scrimba's "Learn JavaScript for free" course and am so impressed with Per's enthusiastic and engaging teaching style that I have decided to move on to a paid plan for more advanced courses. Highly recommend! Give it a go!

Scrimba is honestly a hit or miss

Scrimba is honestly a hit or miss. They are definitely a starting up company and there is definitely tons of flaws but they seem to be improving in a good direction, it's definitely a noticable change and I see this company going in the right direction in the coming years. I have been on the Front End Developer course on Scrimba for about 2-3 months now, it is difficult and they definitely hold your hand in some of the "Scrims"/Lessons but you definitely do learn. For beginners I'm probably not going to recommend it but people familiar with some code or are familiar with the basics of HTML and CSS I would recommend it. I came from finishing FreeCodeCamps HTML and CSS course with barely any Javascript knowledge so I had a little bit of supplementing on my end. If you are a beginner I do recommend doing FreeCodeCamp for CSS and HTML because those lessons in their "Career Path." Overall, I think Scrimba is improving everyday, they seem to be doing podcast, the discord is very engaging and I've got multiple people to help me about any of the lessons or scrims. I've had a study group member that was doing Scrimba with me already get a developer job 3 months after finishing the Front End Developer Career Path they offer and seen many others get jobs pretty fast using Scrimba. Scrimba is going in a really good direction and if you can put in the time and effort and also use different lessons and websites to supplement I would recommend them especially for the price point of $30/month (I got the semi-annual version and it was only around $230ish) and for 6 months with the right amount of time you can finish Scrimba easily.

dont buy it !!!

if you are a begginer and dont wanna waste time, avoid scrimba.
after the 40% of the course, the lessons become totally different, they didnt put any care and you have to search a lot of details by yourself.
there are lesson where the teacher dont even know if you already know something specific, so thats mean they never review the whole course but instead keep adding something to make you go forward with many informations missing.

pay money to waste time its not worth it.

Awesome.

Awesome.
Scrimba is a great online learning platform for beginners and advanced users.

I bought one course for 30$ because it seemed great and I wasn't disappointed. The teaching concept is way ahead of Youtube or other e-learning platforms. The interactive part in nearly every video makes this platform so unique and effective.

I would definitely recommend Scrimba for everyone who wants to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript and co.

This is an excellent platform

This is an excellent platform. I can't believe I didn't know about it before.

Their system, where you can just pause the video and "jump" into the code and edit it is just mindblowing. I wish someday I could write something like that myself!! Truly exceptional!

I instantly got addicted and depend my knowledge in couple of different languages.

it helped me a lot with the CSS and React.

Scrimba - Interactive Video Tutorials for developers

I started using Scrimba about 2 months ago. If you do anything with computer code, you should check it out.

It is a video tutorial platform focused on videos for people learning Web or Application Development. However, it differs from other platforms because you can actually write code in the video you are watching, which kind of blew my mind. And I don't mean you pause a video and write code beside it, I mean that you click on the screen they are sharing and you actually write code on the same screen.

I have done a few tutorials by them already. I have learned a lot from the course on the free CSS Grid and another free course on CSS Animations. I'm also doing their Javascript Bootcamp at the moment, which is very thorough and is providing me with a good understanding of concepts I never thought I'd grasp.

As for cost, the bootcamps are not expensive and the communities are active. I have already recommended it to loads of friends.
