I have spent the last year of my life fighting with this company I got a sofa from this place then ended up having a manufacter defital even tho I payed for the 5 year expendeted protection to find out the person that supplies my sofa went out of business this processes took over 6 months befor i was awarded money off a new sofa to witch I found my 3000 pound sofa got me 679.99 off a new sofa even tho I paid more money to extend my warranty to 5 years to find out they wasn't willing to hold them selfs to something I paided for I then took my 679.99 pound of in store credit as the wasn't willing to give me the money to place an order on the 16/10/2025 to be given a delivery date befor Christmas let's be honest if u have got this far in the story I didnt get my new sofa to be told yesterday 12th of Feb 2026 that my sofa got canceled and rendered and no isn't expected in to the factory till the 9th of March 2026 when it was expected befor Xmas day 2025 I have had nothing but issues with scs and theu refuse to give me my money back form the higher up management this was stated on a fone call with the only person that ever rung me back after multiple people telling me thay would call me back or take it to there manager im getting no compensation and no money off and I can't even cancel the order apparently according to scs im stuck in this cycle so please to anyone that has got this far in this review fine some one else to get a sofa off many thanks for your time and go to dfs or anyone else

Excellent service from buying the sofa to the really helpful delivery guys

The delivery times where as told . I received messages and calls to advise me on the timing the sofa would be delivered. The guys where very helpful with helping me move my old sofa out the way .. they made sure I was able to use the recliner buttons and all the rubbish was taken away . Very friendly.

Delivered on time guys were polite friendly would have given 5 stars but the manufacturer sent the wrong chair out with the sofa

Excellent service from shop to the delivery drivers.

The delivery tracking system worked well earlier today and the delivery was on time. The delivery team assembled the 3 SEATER SOFA REF 10346908 which
was fine. But when assembling the ARMCHAIR
REF 10346909 the base was obviously not level with the casters fully engaged. One of the team adjusted one caster leaving the thread exposed which severely affected stability strength at the rear RHS of chair This has been reported back by the team with photo' added. Kind regards. Martin Holland.

I was given updates of the delivery up until the day of delivery, the delivery guys were top notch, having phoned when they were ready for delivery so i could make parking easier, they both friendly and helpful all the way through the delivery process and made sure that i was happy with everything

After reading the horror stories on facebook, I was extremely happy with my experience with SCS. The texts, emails and tracking works well. I received a telephone call to confirm they were 30 minutes away and they arrived shortly afterwards. The sofabed was brought in in sections and reassembled in the room. Very speedy and polite team. Two gentlemen came to delivery our furniture(1xarmchair/2xTwoSeater). Very respectful of the property and very helpful all round. They fitted the sofas and placed accordingly where we needed them..no fuss 💪👍 If I could add more than 5 stars..I would! 😎

Buying the sofas was the easiest part. Really good service and advice.
On the delivery day, Chris and Simon rang through to inform me when they hope to be with me (dependent on traffic around the Dartford area!) I think they were travelling from Essex.
Both Simon & Chris were pleasant, jovial and brought my sofas in and placed them where I wanted them. They made it look so easy.

If you read all my reviews regarding our sofa from SCS you will understand this review.. we have never had such bad treatment from any company ever!! Our sofas were never fit for purpose we are now going through small claims court and after my last review they answered and said someone would be in touch to discuss further and once AGAIN nobody got in touch they never ring you back!! I’m not too concerned as this will all go for us with our court claim but just another lie they have told us! DO NOT BUY from this company. We will wait to see the outcome of the courts but depending on the outcome we will NOT leave it this company must not get away with treating customers like we have been treated! I have just read your reply SCS and I was told they would ring me by the end of Monday it’s now Wednesday!!this happens every time they say they will ring.. they DONT!! Once they get your money they don’t want to know!!

It would be easier to say what went right than what went wrong.
It took over three months to get our order of 2 two seater settee’s. Firstly we got a date for delivery on the 18/07/2025 No delivery no calls text or emails. I finally got through to SCS and they informed me that the Colchester store was closed for refurbishment and nobody knew anything. After countless phone calls I got through to head office, I explained what was happening and you never guess what they put me through to the Colchester store which was closed. My temperature was getting high and not happy. A few days I got a text say my delivery was to be on the 25/07/2025 between 13.00 and 19.00, you guessed it no delivery. I stayed all day just case it came but nothing no calls no text nothing
On the 28/07/2025 I managed to get through to head office, after a heated exchange I told them to cancel my order and return my £500 deposit. I was promised my order would be delivered on the 29/07/2025 between 07.00 and 12.00. I got an email saying my order will be delivered on the 25/07/2025 then a little while later I got another email saying that it would arrive on the 29/07/2025
Finally my order arrived at 08.00 they delivered my order and left
I will not ever be ordering from SCS again, very disappointing
