Great friendly delivery guys happy and nothing was a problem

Walked in for a little wander ended up buying our dream sofa thanks to Sam in Durham. Love it so much and cannot wait for it to arrive! Thank you so much

The customer service was detailed to our views, we wanted a sofa that could be pet proof as well as comfortable and durable. All our views were taken account made the purchase so easy. We were impressed with their customer service, professionalism.
Also the ambiance in the store was inviting and made us welcome.

The process from sales to initial delivery was spot on. The salesman was great with information when asked questions and delivered assuring answers. He was calm, polite and overall very friendly.

However, the delivery of the sofa could have been better. The men did try to reassure us and gave us options when they arrived after an unsuccessful attempt at fitting into the house, we felt that more time could have been spent to help us fit into the home as after they left and dropped the sofa on the drive, we did manage to get the sofa into the home successfully by ourselves. Understanding that the delivery men have other jobs to go to, we do feel that a bit more time effort should have been spent to ensure a smooth delivery/handover

I purchased a sofa and chair from Scs Durham and paid a 500 deposit on the 7th of February 2025. I was told that my UK manufactured furniture would be delivered within 12 to 14 weeks. Two delivery dates have been cancelled and changed and now I’ve had a third saying my sofa and chair will not be at the delivery distribution centre until the 13th of June. This is five month since I ordered my sofas. Nobody from the company has contacted me. I’ve just had to go online and track my delivery date I’ve already lost two people who were going to buy my old sofa and I’m still waiting.
The staff in the store couldn’t be more helpful when I was actually purchasing the product but when I rang them up today, they said they couldn’t directly contact with the distribution centre. I’m so frustrated and feel they have just washed their hands of me as a customer supposedly they’re going to ring up the manufacturer and get back to me within the next couple of days I’m not holding my breath so disappointed with this company. I wished I’d read the reviews before I purchased the furniture. How can a sofa that is manufactured in the UK take this long to be made and delivered?

Our initial experience was with Chloe in the Durham branch. She was very friendly and helpful and this made choosing our 3 piece a pleasant experience. She is most efficient and dealt with the paperwork side of things quickly.
Prior to and on the day of delivery we were kept updated.
The 2 crew, Doug x 2, were pleasant and quickly and efficiently unpacked and installed our new 3 piece.
Altogether this has been a good customer experience. Thank you.
