You do not get bothered by any sales staff until you engage with them, perfecto.

We was greeted by a very friendly staff member,he explained everything about the furniture, style,fabric etc, he left us to wonder around the shop and look and try with no pressure at all, but he was there to help if needed,which he did,Marcus was very helpful and friendly made us all feel very relaxed.

Very professional service

When visiting the very well stocked show room to view suites, the staff let us look round before approaching us, we were great full of this. We did not feel under pressure. They engaged with us when we needed them. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. When we went back the next day to actually make a purchase. Amy who went through our actual purchase was lovely and guided us through all the relevant details.

Amy was very helpful in the St Helens store,she explained everything very well including guarantee and the history of the company.we are happy with our purchase and looking forward to delivery.

The customer service assistant Amy had great knowledge, was very helpful and gave us the time and space we needed to have a look around at the Sofas. The shop was beautifully presented and there was a lot to choose from. We were very pleased with our visit.

Staff brilliant leave you alone to look at peace but are there if you need them.

I purchased a sofa from Poltronesofa by ScS and it arrived faulty on the day of delivery. The independent engineer sent by ScS themselves confirmed:

• incorrect assembly at the warehouse
• loose legs
• mechanism arms rubbing
• potential manufacturing issues

Despite this clear evidence, ScS repeatedly sent me contradictory and irrelevant responses. Their latest message even claimed the sofa is “not designed for sitting”, which is unbelievable for a product sold as a sofa.

Instead of addressing the engineer’s findings, they mixed up product descriptions, ignored the faults and refused to acknowledge their responsibility under the Consumer Rights Act. The store even told me they “cannot help”, despite being the retailer and legally responsible.

Their investigation has been confused, inconsistent and completely unprofessional. I have now had to escalate the matter to external bodies because Poltronesofa by ScS failed to resolve a straightforward issue.

Very disappointing experience.

The product I purchased is a sofa bed, and this does not mean it is “only for resting legs”. A sofa bed is designed for sitting in its closed position and for sleeping when opened. Suggesting that the lounger section is not meant to be sat on is simply incorrect for this type of furniture.

More importantly, even when the sofa is fully closed – meaning the lounger section is not extended at all – it still makes noise and the mechanism rubs when used for normal sitting. This clearly shows a fault, not misuse.

I would also like to remind you that the independent engineer you sent yourselves confirmed:

• incorrect assembly at the warehouse
• loose legs
• mechanism arms rubbing
• potential manufacturing issues

Yet none of this has been acknowledged in your response.
