We were given a date of 6th October so we planned things around this but we got a message saying they were wanting to deliver early which I had agreed to when I placed my order. The problem arose because it was going to be the 11th September which in normal circumstances would be good but I wasn’t expecting it so early as although this could happen if you agreed on point of sale it was never told me at the time. They wanted to charge for storage which I wasn’t happy about but we managed to sort things for 23rd. The sofa looks amazing we are so happy with the quality. The last thing to point out is the delivery driver didn’t install it correctly and as there is storage under he didn’t secure the gas struts so it was too heavy and my son had to fix

Three delivery guys were great, informative, friendly, efficient, tidy and on time. Messaged the day before and morning with details of time slot, rang prior to arriving and fitted very quickly.

This review is based solely upon our in-store shopping experience at the SCS St.Helens store as the suite we've ordered is in the process of being made up/delivered. I'll submit another review once it's been delivered.

This whole shopping experience was incredible from the moment we entered the store. The layout, the choice, the fragrance and the friendly, welcoming staff, one of which was Amy who said to let her know if we needed help/advice and were left to browse without being mithered.

We had a few questions that Amy duly answered and chatted to us about what design etc we were looking for.

To cut a long story short we've visited the store 4 times, placed our order on the second visit, and each time Amy was extremely helpful and friendly, she did not "push" or pressurise us at all. Quite the opposite, she went above and beyond, not only assisting us with the choice of fabric/design of the suite, but also helping us decide on the colour of paint, carpet and curtains for the room we are decorating. All of which was priceless and much appreciated advice. It was like having our own personal interior designer!

Amy is an asset to SCS and cannot praise her highly enough.

We received a new 2 seater sofa and one armchair both electronically controlled for reclining. It is absolutely ideal for the size of the room.

The SCS delivery crew of Martin and Steven did a very good job in delivering our suite.
They arranged our existing furniture around the new suite to where we wanted it and plugged it the mains and tested everything. All packaging was taken away. Highly recommended

bought a three and two seater sofas, 18 months on and the stitching at the seam has parted, not covered under the five year warranty apparently and they want a non refundable £75 fee to send someone out just to look at it before they determine if it's a manufacturers fault, i would think twice before purchasing anything from them in future.

The delivery team kept me upto date on their time of arrival. Arrived on the time they contacted me with. They were quick bringing the chair in ad assembly. They check that everything was working and went through how it works. Excellent service.

Delivery arrived roughly on time installation in the house was done quite quickly no problems

Scs let us browse but we're there to help if needed. Christine assisted us on our purchase for a new sofa. Christine was very helpful

My friend and I went to the st helens store today for me to order my corner sofa. I was approached by a lovely lady sales assistant by name of Amy. Even though this is my 3rd sofa from here I hadn't ordered one in long time so I was really nervous and was overwhelmed. Amy really put me at ease and explained all the financial side and best deals that was on offer...she really knows her stuff and I found the sofa out of 2 I really liked in the end and she went above an beyond to explain the finance I'd be paying went through all my contract even did a very kind and lovely gesture towards the warranty side of it. Scs I have to tell you that Amy is a credit to your store and I couldn't of asked for a more knowledgeable kind caring considerate sales assistant. Amy thank you so much for everything you did for me today I'm truly grateful. Thank you. 😊

The sofas came on time .The delivery men were fantastic and very friendly

Delivery went ok with pleasant delivery men. However I think delivery people should be equipped with rugs and indoor overshoe slippers so as not to mark beige carpets. This is standard practice withStokers for example

Excellent service and care and efficient delivery

We received excellent sales service when choosing our armchairs, we were left to consider our choice without feeling any pressure to buy.

The delivery team Martin and James were friendly and delivered the chairs with care. Delivery was right on the time we were given.

The whole experience from going to the store and the to the delivery team made it such a smooth process keeping me informed all the way when my Sofa would be delivered. Would truly recommend anyone looking for a new Sofa to go to SCS following the new styles they have introduced has made a huge difference to this brand .

Arrived 4 hrs late. As soon as unpacked I could see ruching on seams on 1 recliner and 2 seater sofa. Delivery men said due to packing and would disappear. Well 4 weeks down the line and it hasn't
One recliner is fine as it should be. This tells me there is a manufacturing fault. A so called independent specialist came and as soon as he came through the door said the claim was invalid, that it was a design fault. Both the store manager and inspector agreed they could see the ruching. I took photos on the delivery day which clearly show the problem.
