Not fit for purpose!
I ordered, paid for, and waited 8 weeks for the delivery of my sofa. The wrong sofa was delivered and slightly scuffed during delivery. I waited a week for contact from SCS, 1 missed call. So i visited the local SCS store and spoke directly to the store manager. Not at all interested and just put me on the phone to customer services. 3 weeks later and after several phone calls by me to SCS i am no closer to a resolution and feel that i am being ignored by SCS. Next step will be to visit the store with a banner, stand outside and warn other potential customers to think twice before dealing with SCS. Not fit for purpose!

Couldn't be any better
The whole experience was great, salesman was very helpful. The delivery men couldn't be any better. Called to let us know they were on there way, delivered, unwrapped and checked the sofas and took all rubbish away with them. All great. Sofas are lovely.

Efficient delivery and communication as…
Efficient delivery and communication as always. Compared to last delivery when the sofa was unpacked legs put on and packaging taken away. I guess I expected the same but unfortunately wasn’t the same. Sofa was delivered and driver and co left as they didn’t want to block the road. I was left with a wrapped up sofa! Apart from that sofa is wonderful just waiting for husband to get in tonight to put it together.

We visited many Sofa stores and whilst the wife was in her element I found it painful. However, when we went to SCS Stevenage we met Bianca who listened to what we were after and showed us several sofas resulting in us purchasing. Definitely give scs a go!
The girl was very friendly, she wasn't pushy like some stores, following you and asking questions non-stop. Once I found a sofa I was looking for, it wasn't quite right but she knew exactly what I wanted and showed me a few sofas and I found what I wanted, which I never thought I'd do, so so happy right now. Only a 5 week wait which is amazing!

Was coaxed into the store by staff…
Was coaxed into the store by staff member who was very polite.
Encouraged to look around a sit on any sofa that took our fancy.
Got the spiel about how it’s a grey price, it’s going up in a day or so!! When in fact 3 wks later it’s still selling at same price.
I wanted a certain leather in a certain colour they promise for can happen even though the swatches don’t show that! So hope I’ve got the better quality leather I’ve paid for in the colour I wanted.

Sofa arrives so we will see!!!

No complaints at all from us.
Ordered our sofas instore at Stevenage with advice from Kobby. He was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products available - we had quite a specific wish list! Our sofas were delivered in the timescale given. Simon and Alex, our delivery guys, were very kind and (thankfully) strong as the sofas had to come in via the side access and patio doors. The sofas themselves are very different to the ones we had previously and will take a bit of getting used to, but I don't regret the purchase at all. Sending thanks to everyone at SCS.
