Out of pocket over £400..
Paid over £400 for an item from an eBay seller. Apparently my item is at the SDA operations centre awaiting a customs fee. There is absolutely no way of contacting them whatsoever. Judging by the other reviews I can only assume it's a huge scam as I received 3 seperate emails on the same day asking for the same customs fee, one of which I paid and soon realised it was a scam as my bank told me they were trying to take more funds from my account. I caught it just in time. I strongly believe there is a connection with the SDA operations centre and the fraudulent emails and websites that are emptying people's bank accounts. There needs to be serious investigation into this company. I don't know how they are getting away with it. I am now over £400 out of pocket.

They keep saying attempted delivery yet parcel was never delivered to my address. Avoid. Just a waste of time, of unnecessary calls trying to understand what happened to your parcel, its location etc.
A simple delivery could take weeks or month to be delivered (if delivered). My parcel was returned and never delivered.
Totally Incapable
They are not able to do their job properly.
1) They put "attempted delivery" on the tracking when in fact they did not try to deliver (I was home all day)
2) Even with a tracking number, they cannot tell you
where it is. If I go in person to the office in Lucca, they
say "the package is in Pescaglia", then after driving
up to Pascaglia, they do no have it, and they tell me it
is Southern Italy......and this is how it goes
3) They do not send a post card, email, or any notification of where the package is stored. How is a person supposed to find their package????

This is the single worst courier company on the planet. Customer service costs money. Their free numbers are always overloaded with requests. They don’t honor their own pickup times. Move it to the next day without notifying clients then don’t show up the next day either. Rather than waste another day on these morons I’m just gonna burn my return and have a bonfire.

The worst experience ever!! I sent a few boxes from NY to Napoli. They are big liars. They say that they go to deliver the packages but they don’t. We have cameras. They never showed up. I spent so much money to send these boxes and I am still waiting. Worst nightmare of my life!!
SCAMMERS
This morning they ring my bell in a very rude way, many times in a row even if it took like 15 seconds for me to get to it cause I was in another room.
They didn't even say I had a package just "Posta".
I still got down the stairs because I figured that could have been my parcel and they left me with the little paper like I wasn't at home.
You are scammers, this should be a public service, not a rip off.

If I could give it less stars I would. Absolute incompetence. Amazon must stop using this courier. All my deliveries from other couriers arrive no problem. SDA complains there is a problem with my address - which there is not! I have wasted hours waiting for a promised delivery only to be let down repeatedly. Enough with SDA! Amazon you need to find another courier or you will start to lose business!
