Waste of Money

Complete rip-off !!!

I paid around 500$ to purchase the housing but only used it once. After loosing air pump, I tried to order a replacement or find a representative for them in Dubai but it ended up loosing my time and energy as they dont have any customer service.
After a long research, I found out that they have a representative who is specilised in Medical products for some reason!!! I spoke to the representative couple of times to have a replaced pump sent to me but never happened. Then he quoted me 100$ for a shipment of a plastic pump that is worth 2$
I regret buying it, I recommend gopro instead !

No service provision outside of the USA

I've had a Sealife Micro 3 camera for just over 3 years. In that time I've used it only twice a year. Now it won't charge. The problem is I purchased it in the UK and Sealife only has a service centre in the USA and won't accept cameras for repair purchased outside the USA. So I'm stuck with a £500 camera I cannot get repaired.

Terrible quality and service!

I bought an iPhone case for diving in Norway. I followed the preparations and instructions, which are a lot. The first dive I had to leave the case on board because it told me it was leak. The second time it looked good but apparently it got a leakage under water and my case was destroyed due to the salty water. So much for a expensive case. Mind you, I only took it snorkelling and it already broke on my first trip. The company does nothing to repair it. If you value your phone, stay away from this product!

NEVER EVER BUY sealife-cameras

WOW, I HAD A CANON CAMERA I USED UNDERWATER FOR 18 YEARS IN FLORIDA. FINALLY DECIDED AN UPGRADE AND BOUGHT A SEALIFE CAMERA IN KEYWEST AT A MAJOR DIVE STORE. I HAD A BABY AND DID NOT DIVE FOR A YEAR AND A TRIP TO HAWAII WAS PLANNED. KONA HAS DIVE WITH MANTA RAYS. I HAD THE CAMERA OUT, ALL THE EXTRA STUFF LIKE LARGE FLASH ETC. I GET TO HAWAII AND IT WON'T TURN ON. CAMERA IS BRAND NEW. I ORDER SPECIAL BATTERIES AND SHIPPED OVERNIGHT TO HAWAII TO TRY TO SAVE SOME OF THIS EPIC TRIP. THEY DON'T WORK EITHER. I GET BACK AND SEND IT TO THEM FOR WARANTEE, AND THEY SEND IT BACK, IT IS MISSING MY NEW BATTERIES I SENT AND IT DOES NOT POWER ON STILL. I CALL AND SPEAK WITH THE OWNER AND INVENTOR OF THE PILES OF JUNK THEY SELL. BJORN, THE OWNER, SWEARS HE WILL GET IT FIXED AND APOLOGIZES. I SEND IT AGAIN AND IT COMES BACK EXACLTY BROKEN. AND GUESS WHO WON'T ANSWER THEIR EMAILS AGAIN? yA, BJORN. TOTAL LYING TRIP RUINING..., BJORN... TWO THINGS, NEVER BUY A CAMERA WITH "SPECIAL BATTERIES" NO REASON FOR THEM OTHER THAN CREATE THE NIGHTMARE THEY HAVE WHICH IS THEY CANNOT GET THE BATTERIES DESIGNED FOR THIS HUNK OF JUNK. TWO, NEVER, EVER BUY ELECTRONICS FROM THESE BOUTIQUE COMPANIES, IT WON'T WORK, IT WILL BE DISCOUNTINUED, BATTERIES WON'T BE ABLE TO BE SOURCED, ETC... THE MANTA RAY TRIP WAS THE MOST MANTA RAYS EVER WITNESSED IN ONE NIGHT, NO KIDDING. 14 OF THEM. AND NO VIDEO, THANKS TO LYING, INCOMPETENT BJORN, AND HIS PILE OF JUNK ELECTRONICS. $1200 IN EQUIPMENT DOWN THE TOLIET AND TRIP RUINED PRICELESS.... Sealife camera defect just after 16 dives

Sealife camera defect just after 1 yr. We did approx 8 days x 2dives with this camera before it went death. According to sealife it was corrosion so no warranty and they offered a discount of 50 euros on a new set of camera plus housing. Housing is perfectly fine so only corrosion could be caused if the sealife moisture muncher (replaced before color change) doesn't do its job when temperature inside the housing drops from 35 to 17 degrees celcius. If they offered a camera (not the housing) against production costs price i would have accepted it. But in fact you might expect a much longer lifetime then 16 dives from this very expensive brand. For me the first and last sealife product.

Nice product and fantastic customer service

I recently contacted this company for a parts order. The underwater camera case that came with my DC1000 sealife camera had a broken clasp. Now mind you this case was over 10 years old and definitely out of warranty. Received a new part in the mail at no charge!! Great!
