It absorbs, stores, and releases heat as your temperature changes through the night, so instead of wild swings from boiling to freezing, you get a much more settled, comfortable sleep environment. It's lightweight and breathable too, so the duvet feels soft and flexible rather than stiff or heavy, and it holds up really well with regular washing and use. It's made to order by our partners in Scotland in an OEKO-TEX® certified factory, and finished with a beautifully smooth 100% cotton casing with a 233 thread count and a lovely satin feel. The measurements for all our filled bedding items are for the outer cotton casing. The final product size may be ever so slightly different from the listed size.
